I identified as trans for 10 years and was on t for 5 years. I finally decided to detransition some time ago.

I am a radical and marxist feminist and a Marxist-Leninist. I am anti-porn,anti-kink, gender critical (but supportive of trans people; but still critical of the transition complex) , critical of makeup and the beauty industry and against surrogacy.

They don't want us to talk about our own experiences and they don't like the fact that our very existence forces them to question themself. They're insecure.

There is no concern over "selling your soul" under a Materialist analysis. Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk aren't capitalists because they are bad people. They do not choose to uphold the capitalist system and capitalist interests because they are bad people. They may be bad people! Who knows! That is an entirely subjective analysis! What one person believes is "being a bad person" may be "being a good person" to another. Moralism is subjective, even if to you, it does not feel like it is! What is not subjective is the actual reality of what political forces animate their actions and decisions -- that they are moved and animated by class interests, that these class interests exist to serve their self-interest, which in another phrasing can be articulated as self-preservation, or their interest in retaining power and safety, or whatever other articulation you want. These class interests cause them to behave in the way they do, not because they are bad people (which they might be! I don't really care either way!) but because they stand to materially benefit from the perpetuation of these political conditions and the continued entrenchment of their own power. A moralist would argue that Jeff Bezos "should just give his money away" because it would be the "right thing to do." But a dialectical materialist understands that he will not, because to do so would be akin to choosing to cut off his own hand, and recognizes that what he will actually do and why is what matters more than what he should do.

I personally think that tras down playing trans people's rights and wrongs are the whole reason why people don't listen to tras when they have valid things to say. Like yes there will be trans women who do something wrong. Just like there's always going to be someone in any group that does something wrong. The important thing is not to downplay it but also not to let it represent all the people in one group but if they keep down playing it won't be "oh my god this one person did wrong" it'll be "oh my god this one person did wrong and people around them are trying to cover it up". People don't trust the Catholic church for the same reason and a lot of people don't trust men for the same reason. You have to hold people accountable and if you're trying to actively hide what they do wrong. You're just as bad as them

hey okay gyns i wasn't going to say anything, but as a detrans woman who was severely dysphoric for like, 12-13 years, until it somehow dissipated, and as a girl with a fuckton of trans/dysphoric & detrans friends, the way radblr is reacting to this & similar interactions hurts.

this is actually another extremely unnecessary snarky addition to a very good post, and it's honestly so predictably cruel of radblr to a downright pathetic extent. i keep seeing the edgy meanfem persona come out of y'all, something that i know is so easy to cultivate in radfem spaces when it comes to trans issues. i know how easy it can be to start seeing them all in bad faith when everything you consume day in and day out is the very worst of the trans community. it's easy to forget that they still have unique struggles, struggles that i lived through. you don't understand the unbearable breakdowns, some life-threatening, that i had back when i was severely dysphoric. if you wouldn't purposefully trigger someone with OCD or psychosis, don't fucking do this to someone with dysphoria on purpose. especially not as a sassy clapback or whatever this is supposed to be. i know radblr is full of ableism, and apathy towards trans & disabled people, but honestly i see this kind of behavior getting worse and worse.
