character(s): F!Reader (trans female, Afab, Demi girl, etc), Kate Laswell (early thirties), Raven the crow [id you get why I named Raven Raven, that’s awesome cause I love that persons work and just the oc herself)
type: Fluff, implied smut, slow burn
tw(s): the bird is a thief, stealing, lingerie, smoking(basically a small summary too)
that crow loves what you have in your purse (if you use one), your backpack, your pockets, hair (if you ever put it up or accessorize it), and so much more about you. It’s constantly tugging at your clothes in interest and even like a thief like Kate wish she could. Sitting on your shoulder, a place Kate could only wish she could rest her head.
the damn bird is the reason Kate found out so many things about you! Especially with how much it went through your shit..
Kate watched out the window of her safe house, a cigarette to her lips and her hair up in a low bun. Her eyes still bright and her hair not to gray from stress. Her body not yet aged like she was somewhere between late forties and early forties.
she let out a sigh, stubbing her cigarette out as she let the smoke slowly leave her mouth. “Hey, raven. Can you get me that letter on the table?”
she called out to her bird. Raven perked up and waddles around the safehouse that they had been sharing with you for the mission. He bent down to grab the letter but noticed your bag.
He stood back up and ruffled his wings a bit, he looked back at Laswell. Laswell was busy looking outside. So, raven waddles to your bag and quickly but discreetly got the zipper open and poked his head in, he quickly grabbed some lace he found packed at the bottom under much more things. The feeling of it was soft against ravens beak as he flew back over to Kate and cawed loudly to get his owners attention.
Kate stuttered and immediately snatched the lace from the bird mouth. Raven ruffled his feathers in anger and moved his feet like he was having a tantrum. Kate gently booped ravens beak.
“stop- stop stealing from her!!”
Kate yelled, but the bird cawed loudly again at her. Likely making fun of her for her flushed face.
