Hello.

It has been a while since I’ve posted here. I’m thinking of becoming active on Tumblr again, but I kind of want to start fresh. When I last posted here, I was coming off of a really difficult part of my life... and a lot of screw ups.

I’m by no means out of the woods yet, but I still want to start anew on a few of the online communities I am/was a member of an wish to return to.

As part of that, I have decided to create a new main blog/account. This one is now under my alternate email address, and my main email will be used for the new one. It isn’t ready yet, but my new URL/username will be umbralastra.

It will be a personal/gaming blog, and still have to do with a lot of the same things this one did. I’ll post about random cute stuff, my gaming adventures (which will now include more FFXIV than anything else), rants about life... All that kind of thing. I figure this is a better place to rant than Facebook, anyhow, since my real face/identity doesn’t have to be tied to it.

If you want to follow me there, please do! It will be up and running in a few minutes, and I’ll be making edits the next few days to the theme and stuff to get it ready for posting. I will be re-following all of the blogs that I follow here on that one.

Hopefully this serves as an effective way of “moving on” from some of the things that have plagued my past.

Things I did today in FFXIV~.

Saw one of the most ADORABLE NPCS IN THE WORLD, got distracted by stars and other shiny things, channeled my inner cat, and watched Forthyn get sent to timeout for not leveling and staring at shiny things instead. :’D

OMGGGG I LOVE IT SO FAR.

Like. Omg.

This might actually be the motivation I needed to finally get out of the house and find myself a job since I won’t be going back to school this semester... I know it’s certainly a much needed distraction to keep me from sinking too far back into this depression.

So far, it was 510% worth the $60 I paid to buy the game initially. And things just kind of keep coming at you... It almost seems like there’s so much to do and see in this game that it would be nigh impossible to do it all in a lifetime. |D So yes, I would also reckon it’s also at least 510% worth the subscription fees.
