having thought about it this is a generationally anti-consumer announcement that will have a profoundly detrimental impact on consumers and retail markets. this will price out new consumers even more than a $600 PS5 and $80 games will. this will make games less accessible and more nickel-and-dimed. this will make games impossible to share irl without giving your console up, and will stop institutions like libraries from being able to loan copies of modern games. and most importantly, it will be for a minimal profit, as most of the sales in video games are already digital.

Raising Funds for New Glasses

Hello everyone! I want to say thanks again to those who helped make my eye exam happen. But unfortunately, the results show that my vision has worsened by a lot, and I desperately need new glasses ASAP. So, my family agreed to drain all our week's funds in order for me to order them, plus my generous girlfriend came to the rescue with the last little bit needed. I deliberately picked a really cheap pair but still, it's a huge loss to try and recover.

I wish I could offer something in return, but where I am still recovering from my recent hysterectomy, I'm not fit to sell art or anything right now; I know I wouldn't be able to commit to it.
