GUYS!! I'm very excited to announce that I'll be launching the promotion for my very first book, "Lovers Lie"! (I swear I'm calm and not actually screaming of excitement) I'm back from my break from blogging, but don't think I've been idle because there's been a lot of work going on behind the scenes.

The novella itself is a light and simple read which compared to my normal writing style is new territory. I wrote the novella as a challenge to myself for 2021 where I learn how to self-publish while looking to finish my debut novel - but as always I have about 7 other works in process too. It may not be good, it may be horendous but we have to start somewhere and challenge ourselves hence why I'm putting it out there. But hey, it may just be one of the best reads of the year so far!

To get the hype up for the release I'll be putting out information and character studies on the novella as well as starting a competition where you can win a free copy!

More cryptic reveals for the characters to my upcoming novel via the Pinterest board method.

In my last post I gave clues for the main character Frankie and like every good queer story, we need a love interest so...we have Mac Lennox. Just like Frankie you'll have to figure out what kind of person she is through the clues.

I'll be doing a story Q&A and will be answering any questions you have about the girls so far.

So, to start getting hype for my novel I've decided to reveal my characters in the most cryptic ways possible and leave it up to you to paint a full picture.

I asked you guys how you wanted to get to know about someone and that came back as through Pinterest Boards so, I created a template that reveals clues about the character. Here you'll get clues of their backstory, heritage, style, key plot lines and aesthetic. It's like a say what you see kind of game.

Characters should be 3D and feel like friends so you'll get to know them like that before hopefully buying a copy of my book and learning their story!

Starting with the main character we have Francesca Haim, who you'll know as Frankie. Looking at the clues, it's up to you to figure out who she is and ask questions. I might even answer them.

1/12 acts to my poem "How Misery and I Served You Apart" and yes, it's not all rhyme with couplets and the body to be analysed. However, it's an experimental free verse work that I'll provide an analysis of on my blog this week including a mood board for those who want something a little more vivid.
