I saw it first! || Sungkyung & Jackson
There’s this small amusement park, located not too far away from the institute, that Sungkyung enjoyed visiting from time to time. It was a nice little place where she could really relax. She had to take her brother out here one day. Sungkyung hadn’t always been one for spontaneous adventures, but as she grew older, she came to really enjoy andappreciate it. Today was one of those days where she felt like she needed to really get out and have fun, and the first place she thought of was theamusement park.
Sungkyung finds joy in the littlestthings. It’s something she began doing more and more often as she grew up,having learned to really appreciate what you had and the surroundings around you, to not let it go to waste because one would surely regret it in due time. When she finally arrives at the amusement park, she let’s herself go and entrusts her body to the excitement.
It is true what they say about time flying by when you have fun, as evident of the sun on its way down, slowly but surely setting on the horizon as she can see and it’s almost time to head back to the institute. She walks around the park one last time, and all of a sudden notices a very peculiar thing and for some reasons her mind screamed “WANT” and she had to obey. Walking quickly over to the shop selling balloons, she reached her hand out to grab the string attached to the cat’s head but a voice interrupts her. Looking at the male, she raises an eyebrow as if challenging him, “I don’t think so.”
Slightly surprised and confused Jackson looked at the lady that had a hold on the balloon as well. With a rather determined look on his face he continued to hold on to the string. Even wrapping the string another extra time around his finger, just so he wouldn’t let go of it.
He pouted slightly, but looked still rather determined. For once not letting himself be scared away that easily. Besides, if he moved himself through a portal, it wouldn’t help much. Either bring her with him to the other side of the portal, or cut something of that probably wasn’t smart to do. He blinked a few times but continued to look at her with a determined look. “I do think so yes!” he stated, nodding his head along while saying that. He gave a light tug at the string to pull the balloon more his way instead of hers. He really was going to try to take it home with him and not giving up before he got it. “I am really sure I had it first, in my hands already, before you even arrived here. I just hadn’t taking it with me to the register yet,” he stated. As if that was the most logical explanation for everything.
