When Percy realized Oliver was the only other boy in their year to be sorted into Gryffindor, he was resigned to be sharing space with yet another Quidditch fanatic who’d think him “boring” and “stuck-up”.
But Oliver’s handshake was firm and he listened without interrupting for almost an hour when Percy told him all about what he’d learned in Hogwarts: A History before they went to sleep that first night.
