Heroes is now on Netflix and im finally attempting to make it through season 3 cuz I fell off when that shit aired I was not about it. I've heard the second half of the season is actually pretty good but Holy Shit is the first half a chore. I have to keep telling myself that if I made it through 15 seasons of Supernatural I can make it through this 😅

I know it's a popular headcanon for Merlin's clumsiness to be an act or a cover for him, but personally I think that how clumsy he is inside the citadel is entirely real, but his clumsiness when traveling is mostly intentional. If Merlin is magic, and magic runs through nature, then I think it would make sense for Merlin to naturally be aware of things like roots, branches and animals when traveling in the woods. Conversely, when he's inside the citadel he's essentially cut off from nature by the stone walls and so its harder for him to sense his surroundings. Considering he grew up in a small rural village he's had constant access to nature and therefore magic and so I think he'd grow to rely on that ability to sense the natural world as just another way to navigate life. Essentially, moving to Camelot caused him to have to basically relearn how to navigate the world without access to his magical senses.

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!
