But also. They spared us even the meager crumbs the novel gave us, and they easily could have not.

They could have made the finale twice as long, and fit it there. They could have shot just one more episode, and show all of it in it. They didn't.

And they are well aware how beloved the second couple is, even with the nothing they were given. And they have been nurturing this fondness for all this time, and seemingly very deliberately.

So it's not entirely absurd to hope there could, maybe, kinda, hopefully be a second season, or special episode/s (the way "My Stubborn" did, bless them), to give their fans proper not just closure, but actual story before that, too.

I, for one, will keep my fingers crossed.

Hua Yong is indeed ridiculously jealous of their son, and the attention Shaoyou is paying him.

I guess the baby sounded way better theoretically, as a trap for his Alpha, than it turned out to be later in reality.
