Alphys the Royal Scientist!!
This had no right taking so long (cough cough I started making her a YEAR ago) but she's finally here and i think she turned out pretty awesome!
The tail is so fun to animate, head was the trickiest part to make and she doesn't really have glasses (idk how I'd do that) but its ok

Midnight post but I do wish some people would remember that you can come at the same thing from different angles.
What brought this to mind was a screenshotted post that was originally an AFAB person (that's all the info I have) bemoaning that because women's fashion is more flexible than men's, they didn't have the quick and dirty option of putting on a skirt or dress to signal visible genderfuckery. Something along the lines of being seen as a threat.
The post had been water-filtered by a transfeminine user who was pretty pissed at the original poster.
And yeah, from that perspective, it does suck to just be wearing the clothing appropriate to your gender and get seen as gender deviant. It does suck to be seen as a threat.
Still, I feel that there was some unnecessary vitriol towards the OP. Because yes, as someone perceived as a woman myself, it can be frustrating if you *want* to be fucking around with gender but people just go "oh an alt woman doing woman clothes things." (There are other great ways to mess around with gender presentation, but putting on one clothing item that you can find in most clothing stores has a certain convenience value if that's what you're looking for.) And when you are seen as "oh little weak woman thing," it can feel empowering to be seen as strong, intimidating, etc.
Idk. Obviously, the state of the world is such that I think the TF poster and commenters are right and making good points. I just also think that sometimes, when something is a pain point for a person, it's easy to read malice where it's at worst ignorance and at best just Not For You.
(Disclaimer that not all women get to be seen as delicate, nonthreatening, so on and so forth. Trans women are an obvious part of that, but racialized, intersex, and fat women often are too. I'm probably forgetting other groups in there, but the point stands.)

Some autistics have an odd view on what a special interest within autism actually is, and it's a very damaging take.
Special interests within autism can cause clinically significant impairments in one's life.
Special interests can borderline obsession and addiction and compulsion. They can even run inline with addiction, obsession, and compulsion.
Special interests aren't always knowing everything about it, researching it, and infodumping, or engaging in it in multiple ways.
Sometimes autistics don't know much about them, some will not research them, some autistics won't infodump about them. Some autistics only every engage in their interest in a very restricted and fixated way, a very limited way.
I honestly think some autistics get special interests and hobbies mixed up. You are allowed to have hobbies you are very passionate about, love to talk about, and have a vast knowledge on them. There are many allistics in this world who have hobbies just like that and with such an intensity.
Special interests for autistics aren't always cute and quirky and fun. They can be damaging and impairing, and cause stress/anxiety. They can be inappropriate, dangerous, or bad.
Me when I see people knowing more about my special interest than I do

I got a 4 min long video of Kimchi dreaming today, so here's a clip
You get the whole walk cycle and the little sprint at the end.
Sometimes her sprints last for like 4 or 5 seconds and she can shoot herself off the couch or into a wall if she gets a grip with her back claws. If she does it next to a wall, her head smacking into it sounds like someone is trying to break into the house. She doesn't wake up.
Later in the dream she injured her paw and was limping, and earlier she caught something and ate it.
guess who bitches
sinkdog is real and she's coming to your house right now. let that sink in
