Tumblr Sexyman Contest 2026 Final Round
Senshi (Dungeon Meshi)
Ryland Grace (Project Hail Mary)
Mr. Ant Tenna (Deltarune)
Tenna art by @9Aaaalt29 on twt
“And if you’ll give me 40% of the MOST POPULAR VOTE, I’ll give you my SPECIAL REWARD... A year’s supply of NON-GLOOBY SLIME!!! Never or BARELY used!!!” Tenna concluded his speech with a huge smile, jetting his hands up in double peace signs.
The crowd roared in confused enthusiasm as Tenna gave a gracious flurry of low-FPS bows, pausing only for the occasional stink-nose at his audience plants who weren’t throwing enough 3D roses.
Eventually, the room fell silent. It was Senshi’s turn to speak.
He puffed out his chest, took a long, sweeping look over the audience… and shook his head.
“I can see not all of you are eating properly.”
The crowd murmured with embarrassment.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s time to take the turkey out of your icebox. I have seen the ingenious technology with which your people store food... and I have also seen the waste which results from such convenience.
“The food you take had a life. Beasts grew fat on the grass of the field, plants grew from the sun’s rays, and mushrooms grew from minerals in the cracks of caves. And yet, it sits in your iceboxes, collecting moisture until it perishes.
“Eat what is given to you. Because its life will make you stronger, too.”
Without another word, Senshi left his podium and stepped away from the stage. The crowd murmured in confusion. “Is he really like that?” somebody said. “I only remember reblogging the photosets of him tripping and showing ass.”
--
Back in the Green Room, Tenna wrung his antennas nervously.
“Y-y-you think they liked me!? They HAD to!! I mean, I don’t know what Asgore was thinking, getting that weird haircut and running that food waste campaign, but… YOU thought I did good, didn’t you, Kris?”
Laios nodded aggressively, a streak of blue face paint peeling from his forehead.
“You did AMAZING, Tenna! By the way, now that we’ve seen all your insider campaign secrets, do you have any more videos of Susie? Especially her tail... If I could get a look at that, I could finally tell if she’s a dinosaur or --”
THWACK. Fake antlers butted Laios’s head.
“LAIOS?? Weren’t we dressed up to help SENSHI???” Marcille hissed, gesturing awkwardly with her hooves.
Suddenly, Tenna turned to the two adventurers.
“Hey, WAIT a second. SOMETHING’s not right here...”
Laios and Marcille held their breath.
“Where the heck are my POINTS!?”
Just then, the door opened. Chilchuck took one step into the room, whistling and holding a large bag.
Everyone turned to him.
Chilchuck paused, took a step backwards, and closed the door.
“CHILCHUCK!!!” yelled Tenna.
“How come Chilchuck got to stay Chilchuck!?” yelled Marcille at the same time.

Meanwhile, in outer space somewhere, some guy was making out with a rock.
Concluding that Americans were being forced to endure huge stretches of the year without any obvious social pretext for serving warm bread, a new study published Monday by researchers at Cornell University found there simply aren’t enough occasions where you get to eat rolls. “Our data shows that the vast majority of people would welcome more frequent instances in which a little roll is placed next to their plate, especially when the roll is warm and comes with a small pat of butter that melts right into it,” said lead researcher Arthur Guevara, adding that while rolls remain popular at Thanksgiving, Easter, weddings, and certain steakhouse chains, those opportunities are nowhere near sufficient to meet the nation’s demand.

Baron & Zombie is releasing!
It's my Cold War Urban Fantasy novel, serializing now on RR, Scribblehub, and my own website. I'm so proud to be putting it out there, and while I doubt there'll be a ton of traffic via Tumblr, I still wanna brag about it briefly. :3
RR: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/177064/baron-zombie-cold-war-urban-fantasy
Scribblehub: https://www.scribblehub.com/series/2416502/baron--zombie-cold-war-urban-fantasy/
Website: https://baronandzombie.com/
The BLURB:
Prestige is power. Toil for the gods, make a wish, and receive a miracle.
New York City, the spring of 1952. Secular power is ascendant, and atomic weaponry casts a long shadow over the Earth. Yet secret cults still influence the course of nations. Cultists pull strings and slit throats, using money and magic to empower their vast conspiracies.
An elite Soviet assassin vanishes with the Cat o’ Nine Lives, an ancient artifact which grants its bearer the right to die nine deaths. In desperation, a waning faction of the Soviet cult hires the ageless madman-philosopher Baron d’Holbach and his invincible right hand, the Zombie. Their task? Recover the artifact in secrecy, on American soil, before the world learns the Cat is gone.
If they fail, then a carefully managed balance of power will collapse, the Cold War will turn hot, and nuclear armageddon will soon follow.
Despite the stakes, they won’t be welcome in the halls and temples of the gods. They are living relics, responsible for diminishing the power of magic in the world, and the Baron in particular is reviled for interfering in occult politics. But the Zombie insists—they will interfere, and if the Baron dies during their mission, the Zombie will bury the world along with him.
Baron & Zombie is a historical urban fantasy set in the early Cold War, in an age when magic is waning and technology is ascendant, and old forces move once again to decide the fate of nations.
What to expect:
Think of a le Carré spy novel and urban fantasy action in a modern style.
Complicated Cold War politics, where no side seems right but your own.
Realistic treatment of a magical alt Earth with deep history and myth.
Philosophy. Steep odds demand moral choices.
6 chapters release today, one per hour, with the 8 following chapters already available on Patreon, for a total of 14 right now. Over the next two weeks, I'll release another 10 chapters, and then we'll settle into a Wednesday / Saturday release cadence until the book finishes, totaling 270k words.
Early access to chapters will continue to be available throughout its serialization, from June 29th to November 25th, 2026. I'll keep a running total of 8 additional chapters, 4k to 6k in length, for an average of 40k early words. You can also subscribe to the Patreon free just to get notifications and updates.
As B&Z nears completion, I'll start posting early access to my already finished sci-fi epic, Love and Extinction in Equal Measure, so stay tuned for that as well!
If you don't like reading on Patreon itself, you can log into my book website using the Patreon button at the bottom of the front page. My book site includes its own Wordpress comments and light and dark reader modes!
I wrote the first draft of this on skein, long long ago! I'm so happy to be releasing the book, and I'll mostly talk about writing on my main account going forward.
cancel your mullvad subscription
tech news today is that Mullvad VPN has gone mask-off about being the major funding source for the Swedish Orebro party, who are racist nationalists. unfortunately all discussion of this is occurring on fucking Mastodon instances i can barely load
if you are a mullvad customer (as i am) and want to get out, here is guidance from this guy
If you don't want your Mullvad fees going to fund neo-Nazis - or @mozilla VPN fees, which is rebranded Mullvad - cancel and get a refund immediately that's whose "free speech" the official account is talking about here, and that's where your fees go to EDIT: Mullvad has a 14 day refund policy. But the message below is a direct call to ask for a refund if you don't want to give money to Nazis. If Mullvad refuse a refund, call your consumer protection agency. And reverse credit card charges on the basis of deceptive refund policy representations. It's not like you ever want to be a Mullvad customer again. archive copy of Mullvad statement: https://web.archive.org/web/2026062717
