Troopers probably bond with their AT-RTs and Caco had the galaxy brained thought that someone might paint the "toenails" of theirs
Trapper is definitely that trooper. He also named his Bug Zapper, or Zapper for short
Behold- MY CLONE WARS MOBILE SUIT CONCEPTS/IDEAS (in 501st colors)
Not sure if these are in super high quality- so might either repost or edit later (if I can) but here we go! The art itself is not mine of course- these are kitbashes/customs done using lineart sourced from official gundam source books on Imgur and Pixiv
So to preface this- I have always had a crossover idea in my head of “what if mecha was in the Star Wars universe?” And while I’ve dabbled with direct crossovers in my time a lot… the idea of INCORPORATING the said elements I enjoy about both, or trying to include another franchise into a larger one’s “portfolio” is something I WHOLEHEARTEDLY enjoy a lot.
With that in mind, awhile ago, I went about customizing and kitbashing some Universal Century Federation Suits to have a more “Star Warsy” feel to them and fit in with the GAR and clone elements/sorta “homage” to them. Also for this, I had gone in with how Gundam tends to treats Mobile suits, as the standard form of to fight MOST ground battles and such- with space having their type of MS for that. (This is a very simple way to explain it)
OFC, since I’m doing 501st colored MS- I had to do Rex’s as well, that’s why his P2 still retains that more shaper P1 visor look- and has additional Stark Armor to help make his “Pauldron” stand out- and the two head mounted Vulcan pods sorta stand in for his pistols, plus his rangefinder.
These Republic Mobile Suits use mostly GM and Jegan elements- with the “Phase 01” borrowing more of the wonky design of the Jegan and G-Line head (plus GM II legs for base units and officers have GM III for a sense of higher performance and skill) due how I felt it fit with the way Phase 01 armor was supposed to be “awkward and uncomfortable” while the Phase 02 leans more into the GM III and Type D Jegan, going more for a SOLID and “rugged” sort of look with how more streamlined it looks, plus with how GM III and Jegan Type D’s are more than often easier to customize (at least in the way clone armor is) it made it easier to give some more “references” to the clone armor with things like “pauldrons” and skirt armor in place of the “Kama.

Was trying to get back into the groove of things since I haven’t drawn traditional art in more than a month or so, and haven’t done so on “large paper” in a even longer time.
Got tired of it after about an 2 in a half hours of drawing cuz I’m just more used to smaller sketchbook paper so I didn’t really vibe with it.
Also yes- I know I didn’t do the backpack, I was too bored of this piece to bother with it.

Here’s the reference image, I mostly was holding my phone in one hand while I drew with the other, and when I wasn’t- either had it resting on the stand I have on my case or just laying flat down next to me to look at when drawing for comparison.

A piece for 9 Days of Lancaster that I never got to post here, Ruby & Jaune sometime during their journey with RNJR in mistral.
Here is one without any sort of lighting I added. *Had to grab from Twitter, on mobile.
*Plus images of the traditional art I used (and the reference image I based/got inspired from).
*This was probably the best piece I made all year, and one that taught the most this year, since I never really did a MASSIVE undertaking of digital art like this. Before.

*Also Weiss is fed up cuz she’s shipping them, covering for them and facilitating all of these things for them and all this stuff- and yet they’re too nervous that they haven’t done anything of big noteworthy for her yet.
Here is the last major RWBY art piece I did this year, I never could complete it due to a emergency at the time, and since then just haven’t gotten around to it.
Butttt still, felt like I could finally share this now, so for now, take this piece and, who knows, maybe I’ll finish it one day and share it! :)
Ruby Rose’s very own mobile suit, a GM Sniper II Custom!
My first attempt at making a Custom MS for a RWBY character!
I wanted to stick to UC or SEED era for these machines (yes, there’s more) and felt that, at the time, the GM Sniper II best fit Ruby’s needs for an early V1-3 machine.
I’ve since gotten more creative with machines, and do plan on updating Ruby’s machine with either more uniqueness to it or use a whole other MS that will be given more of my touch to help it feel more in line for Ruby. ^_^

She is just fed up with Ruby and Jaune’s inability to just confess to one another and sticking her neck out both literally and figuratively (also financially).

A Standard Color for the Republic Troops during the Clone Wars
Allow me to present to ya- Republic Standard Colors for REPUBLIC Battalions, not just clone legions. (Colors designed by me for an AU I have where the Clone Wars lasted for around 8-9 years instead of 3-4).
These colors would be ordained on most clone units by the 3-4th year of the war, with it mostly applied to units that didn’t already have their own colors- and with some units actually ADDING their own colors atop of the existing paint. While others willingly used the colors, either in the stock look- or in patterns that were hopefully unique only to them. This means not many units would therefore NOT be in pure white unless they were fresh off Kamino or a whole unit was wiped out and hasn’t been outfitted in colors yet (or they issued new replacement armor).

For a very long time, I noticed that I didn’t very much like the pure white clone armor during it’s phase 2 life, being that it was said that clone battalion’s were almost always unique in the sense of markings and such- and this WAS the Galactic Republic, so I expected something to be done to help give the clones that look of White for the clones (and later shift into imperial) and Red tones that the Republic was practically synonymous for with how much of their vehicles and ships were ordained in the colors.
So, using the references from the games, shows and movies, I found a nice tone of red that is close to the old colors used by the CG during the earlier stages of the Clone Wars. ^_^
At first I wanted to use colors directly tied to the Old Republic, showing how, as the war dragged on, the Republic military was slowly returning to the shape it held during it’s olden days- but then I had a thought…Why not mix it with the CG’s old colors and show how it’s darker for a reason (imo at least)?
The Clone Wars marks the end of The Republic thematically with all the subtle hints to the emergence of the empire and such a lot already- so why not use the color as another way? The colors of the old Republic troopers were brighter and more in line (albeit more on the orange/warm side of things) with what we’d see on Phase 2 Coruscant Guards, and I feel like this would be done on purpose to bring the people of the core at ease upon seeing troopers in the BRIGHT red colors.
Meanwhile the republic’s colors grew darker as the war dragged on, we had people like Tarkin, Ozzle, and Screed come into power during the war, people who just brought the republic further down with corruption, lack of morales or ethics. So as the war goes on, we see the colors that represent the Republic get more faded, it either becomes more desaturated, or darker to symbolize how the republic is slowly dying, losing its ways and being forced to sometimes commit vile acts in the aim of ending the Clone Wars in a victory that the Senate, the very institution the Republic was structured upon, wants.
And even without the themeatic sense for it- the idea of RED being the Republic’s choice of color is just such a clear choice- from the fact that we see MULTIPLE battalions, legions and security forces all throughout the Republic in many sources of media using shades of red- just look at Thire’s unit, a shade of red for the CG that I believe was used a little after the War began and replaced with what we saw on Coruscant later on during Fox’s intro and tenure as head officer.
Then we have Fil’s unit, idk if he was officially stated to be part of the CG/Senate Guards or not, but his troopers had red colors- then we had the 91st Reconnaissance Corps under Neyo, and in Cannon- we also have a different subset of the same legion under Windu with less bright- but more warmer shades of Red that is reminiscent of Pond’s shade of red.
Shades of red have ALWAYS been part of the Republic’s identity, and the troopers who serve the republic during the Clone Wars, ESPECIALLY the Clones themselves would more than likely be super patriotic or supportive of the GAR as a institution- meaning their colors and themes would and should at least try to mimic that of that of the Republic. Like if we saw TK styled troopers during the clone wars- (ie, in fics or whatever) THEY SHOULD BE in red to help symbolize the republic- and they can still maintain their foreboding nature as viewers/readers would KNOW what they ultimately represent, but at the time- they simply would play PERFECTLY into the role of “transitional” when you look at them.
Battle of Paris IV, Orbital defenses & UNSC’s 12th Auxiliary Fleet holds the line for as long as possible for evacuation procedures to commence or for reinforcements.

Drew the ship before Sins of The Prophet’s team brought this beautiful ship to life- unfortunately I never posted it before back then. (I didn’t learn WHEN they released their model showcase until a few months after it happened) T-T
Not the complete image- but this is of my “revision” concept for the Atlas Airship we see in RWBY, using my love for ships, Shipbucket, Star Wars, Halo, and Gundam to come out and help with this.
Maybe sometime this month, I’ll grab the completed, better quality, files and post one or a few different variants every so often.
Found out that the halo community got their hands on these models- and I’ve been DYING to make my own Spartan the way I wanted to in Infinite, so I’ve decided to do it myself until we one day get such freedom in-game.
I’ll share whatever lazy edited Spartan I mash together with these tools, of course I’m doing this all for my own personal pleasure too and whenever I’m not busy writing or editing a video- sooo idk when I’ll share aside from the two I’ve done rn.
*Most likely will be using this as a branching point for my actual art, using the models and posing in blender to make scenes I can then transfer to either paper or digital for me to draw
Pretty good! I mean personally I’d upload the full render as that does look like you screenshot it from the viewport of blender, it will look much better if you render it in cycles- or a new environment! Blender is a powerful tool, you should try and learn some new stuff to do in it, you won’t regret it!
Ah, I DO have a photo of it fully rendered, it was just that I post mostly from my phone- so the nature of it on iPhone loses the transparency from a clean PNG cuz of the rendering.
I do have a few images like this one- just only a few of this one in particular tho since I never really went back and took new renders after I fixed some things on it 😅
Working on a new Stark Jegan.
Using the middle pods and shoulder armor from my old Stark (my first Gunpla) to be customized so I can turn the new one into the Stark Jegan we see in Ep.07, which was in the prototype Stark Jegan’s colors with two Vulcan pods instead of 1.

Was working on drawing a Ground Type GM that I have (the figure with the damaged shield) before I stopped for today, and felt like sharing what I got done in… like an hour(?) after two previous botched attempts.
Might not continue as it’s been since like February that I last drew a mech- and a very long time since I’ve drawn this one in particular.
And I figured I could just take better shots of it in the best poses (hopefully, the shield’s handle is a bit too small for the GM’s grip so it’s flimsily) and then use that as the base to go over digitally and such ^_^
