I grew up christian, went to a "faith based" college, did all the stuff and things, turned to my path more recently after I found myself feeling empty and alone.

After talking/praying to god for so many years with no answer, I was a little shocked when Monday, after having to put my dog down I did.

For context, my dog was older and sick and in pain. We had done everything possible, and nothing else would preserve her quality of life.

Monday, my area had terrible storms roll through, and my dog hated storms with a passion. She once tried to "hide" under my bed. (Her tush was still hanging out) She would stop panicking as long as you pet her. I asked Anpu to have someone sit with her because she's scared of storms, and it's her first night away from us. I heard 'it's done, go to sleep'.

So there's a little something for new pagans. Peace to you

I repost and like a lot of others posts about paganism, others' dieties, etc. I don't know if this is the same for anyone else but when I add anything to an alter I just get a mental image of the diety getting starry eyes 🤩 or comically big anime eyes, like "is for me?"
