The Third Option by Uncertainty_Principle
Homecoming A/U. Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway. So he leaves.Simple.Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on. And that’s when things get complicated.
Child of Crime by alifetime
Peter became homeless not long after he turned into Spider-Man. When one runs the loss of money, he has no choice but to participate into the world of pickpocketing. That is, until he is caught.
To Lose a Home by bethy_277 @bethyedolphin9870
Stepping out of the apartment, Peter felt like he was shutting off a part of his heart. Everything had happened so quickly, and suddenly. He had lived in the apartment for the last 12 years after he lost his parents, and it was home. He locked the door and threw the keys in one of the backpacks and stepped away.He was alone.-Or S.H.I.E.L.D starts harassing Peter while he repeatedly declines, then May dies and Peter is out on the street without assistance.Enter Tony Stark. This is a gift for the IrondadFic Exchange

Peter swallows and looks at Tony, unable to keep the heartbroken look off his face. His hand grabs for his book bag while his other sweeps the vials up. Maybe he’s being paranoid, but he can’t risk going back into the system. He closes his eyes, for just a second, to mourn the life he could have had.“I’m sorry,” he says to Tony.He doesn’t wait to see the man’s response before he pushes through the crowd of people and runs. “Wait!” Tony calls after him.But Peter’s already out the door.-Before Ben died, Peter won a booth to present his project at the Stark Expo. But even on the run from the foster care system, he can’t pass up the opportunity to attend and show the world his project. It all goes so well, until it doesn’t. Trying to avoid being caught, Peter runs out on Tony just as the man is about to make him the offer of a lifetime.Bold of him to assume Tony won’t try to find him.
Without a Home by CloverBell13 @cloverbell13
There was blood on his hands— on his clothes and shoes, and on his face from where he had been wiping at the never ending stream of tears. But it wasn’t his blood…Ben and May were dead. And it was all his fault.—Tragedy strikes again, claiming the lives of the last of Peter Parker’s family, leaving him little choice but to run away and hide these new powers that have essentially ruined his life.Months later with the threat of the accords looming over the avengers and the public in fear of all enhanced individuals, Tony Stark makes it his personal mission to track down and capture the new neighborhood menace; Spider-man. However, what he ends up finding instead is a missing orphaned boy, starving, injured, and nearly dead.Homeless Peter AU where both May and Ben are both killed on the same night (and of course, Peter blames himself)
and when you get there, is it perfect? by hailingstars @hailing-stars
Peter Parker is homeless, a thief, and involved with things he shouldn’t be. Tony Stark has knack for adopting kids. And that doesn’t change when Spider-Man pops up on the Avenger’s radar, and they launch a new mission, operation catch a spider.
Taking Leaps (and the falls that come with them) by Kamomile_Tea
All across New York City the boroughs are crying out with one voice, asking a question everyone wants the answer to.Where is Spiderman? But no one is asking about Peter Parker. So, he sits alone. Contemplating how his life could have gone so downhill. Grief and nausea well up in his chest and the boy quickly shoves it back down. A shiver courses through him as the cold November air seeps into the building and through his thin clothing. And on the back of his navy blue overshirt, in blocky, white letters, reads the words:CROSSROADS JUVENILE CENTERBROOKLYN NYINMATE 3042==========The world seems content with ignoring this young teen. That is, until Tony Stark shows up and asks him if he wants to go to Germany.
Unexpected Finds by snarkymuch @snarky-drabbles
With May gone, Peter is an orphan and sent to foster care. He doesn’t stay long, the abuse he receives there becoming too much. Despite being homeless, he still puts on the suit, Spider-Man getting him through when being Peter Parker couldn’t. It’s a chance encounter that brings Tony and Peter together. Doing the right thing seems easy, but in reality, it’s far from it. Tony is going to make mistakes and so is Peter, but maybe, in the end, they’ll be alright.

Tony Stark, genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and right now, a little exasperated. Because some guy is swinging around New York, shooting webs and making trouble, Fury is breathing down his neck, and his latest intern took off with his coupon for a free coffee. Thank god for Pepper Potts.
