Serendipity (2001) is a lovely romcom, very underrated but still holding up great, a quater of a century after it's original release. It is a well written story about the forces of the universe playing an insane game of how not to meet (again) with the two protagonists. I think what I really like about the film is that there are no antagonists. The other characters might not be perfect but nobody is evil. So while the title suggest a universal truth, the story is far closer to real life and real people than most movies. After all someone finding love often means someone else losing out.
