✨HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREASURE PLANET!✨ 18 years ago today, the passion project of Ron Clements and John Musker was released. Was it received with praise? Outstanding turnout to cinemas? Did it do well at the box office? No to all. But, like Jimbo, it soldiered on and rattled the stars unlike any film Disney produced. It’s been an incredible inspiration to me and thousands of others, and I’m eternally grateful to Musker and Clements for pushing forward with it against all attempts at discouragement.
