Chino XL - here to save you all (1996) This album is a #monster !!! In #1996 Chino XL released his debut album "Here to #save you all". This album is still one of my very #favourite albums ever. It has #battle heavy lyrics, #braggadocio , on point #lyricism and#beats that go hard. It was mainly produced by B Wiz and had two guest appearances from the magnificent Ras Kass and Kool Keith. I actually picked this up in a second hand shop in #Düsseldorf in about 2001 but it still goes into continued #rotation in my playlists. It was entirely produced by #elproducto way before his #runthejewels days and is still one of the best #independent hip hop albums of the #2000s They put out a second album in 2015. Nighthawks (2002) Nighthawks is the album by the #group of the same name which consisted of rappers Cage and the brilliant Camu Tao (RIP). It's a #concept album, where the two #MCs become #drug abusing, #sex crazed police detectives "Deke DaSilva" and "Matthew Fox". Guest appearances include the fellow #weathernen and ecrecs clique Tame One, Metro of S.A. Smash, Space and The High & Mighty. Sadly, Camu Tao passed in 2008. But his music #remains. #whoridas - whoridin' Released in #1997 the #oakland duo King Saan and Mr. Taylor were previously featured on the #alkaholiks #likwidation album.
