Nuclear waste is awful and could contaminate the water supply, hence us needing to run a coal power plant that dumps ash in the river
It would honestly be impressive if you could somehow contaminate the water supply with nuclear waste, considering you would have to atomize it and it would have to be such a large quantity since water is so effective at stopping radiation.

Bio-hacking/self-optimization/whatever they'll decide to call it next is not about being healthy. It has a lot more in common with an eating disorder (which many of these people also have) — it's mostly about feeling in control of something in your life.
It's also very ideologically driven and based on the anti-scientific belief that the mind-body requires discipline more than it does relaxation. That forcing down supplement pills & powders that taste like chalk is better for you than eating a delicious, satisfying meal. That going to the gym on a Friday night is better for you than hanging out & having a good time with friends. That jumping into ice water early in the morning is better for you than sleeping in.
Everything that feels good & comfortable & makes you happy is bad. Everything that makes you feel uncomfortable, painful, unpleasant, stressful etc. is good. Everything "efficient" is good and everything "inefficient" is a waste of your time.
Divorce yourself from pleasure & treat your body as a machine. Forget about leisure. If you let yourself relax too much, you'll want to do it all the time — and that's bad. Don't listen to your body. Only listen to what grifters tell you that your body needs.

We need to conquer space travel for the only reason that zero-g would allow for new never before seen pastries, you know how the top of the muffin is the best part? Well that is because it is exposed to air so it changes the chemistry, in normal earth gravity it is impossible to make a muffin that is all top part because it needs to be placed somewhere which would restrict air flow, however in zero g it would be possible to make a bubble out of muffin dough which gets optimal airflow and becomes an all-top part muffin... This is the dream...
Also a pool on the moon would be really cool.
In the last game I played I was a haunted house who had to kill or drive insane all the people who came to investigate me before they found my demon heart and I don't think there's really a way to prosecute that

also I don't think parents "these days" are uniquely terrible, I just think neglect is showing up in new ways as technology progresses. today's ipad kid would've been wandering around in a ditch alone all day and night before. parents not wanting to have to deal with children is not a new phenomenon.
Today's iPad kid is quite literally yesterday's "shoved in front of a TV for hours on end" kid.

The funniest example of "all art is political" I can think of is that I accidentally made a satirical dystopia sci-fi dnd campaign where Elon Musk owned the entire solar system (at least on paper) and Robo-Hitler killed was trying to kill the space elves and was the liege lord of the moon who swore fealty to Musk. The entirety of Europa was a water bottling plant and there were eco-terrorists around Neptune protecting the space whales. Bill Gates (introduced to the party as Libsateg) hired them to kill Elon Musk, and the way I got them to actually go questing was by forcing them into arbitrary debt and promising free childcare. The asteroid belt was being strip-mined by dwarves.
