Welcome to Plurality Research

We want to create an environment where people can learn about plurality in an accessible and meaningful way. We also want to provide a safe space for people to discuss their experiences, ask questions, and get answers. Our goal is to spread awareness of the various types, origins, functions, and other aspects of plurality that are often overlooked or underreported.

To do this, we need your help. If you think you have something to contribute, please get in touch with us! We’re always looking for new writers and editors who are passionate about plurality. If you would like to contribute to the cause, please contact us via email at [email protected] or message Plurality Research#8558 on discord.

Some ways to help us would be sending asks about your experiences with plurality (anywhere on the spectrum including singlets), offering to help with research or creating posts, filling out the Google Form, and more!! If you think you have something to contribute, please let us know.

Do not interact with the blog if you’re not interested in learning about non-traumagenic plurality or if you harass others. Anti-endos may interact, but please don’t spread misinformation or hate. Yeah we were pretty confused too! Especially considering the fact it was supposed to be an alternative term to traumagenic that is more inclusive of all forms of adversity. Also created is kinda like obviously not the same as endogenic so we don't understand that confusion whatsoever. I have DID, but I don’t use traumagenic. A lot of comments have been mentioning that! Loads of folks don’t use the -genic labels for their own reasons. /info

Well these polls are going to use -genic labels because those are more specific system origins. DID/OSDD is pretty broad considering some systems with them are endogenic, stressgenic, etc. We’re trying to narrow down origins, not disorders currently.

I’m not anon, but the thing is, tumblr as a website is biased. There is only a small section of plurals here. If you want more accurate data, spread out to other websites, or consider starting/joining any local plural groups in your area. The bigger the data set the better, and tumblr is already very flawed if your getting your only notes from here.

Are you looking for input only by endogenic systems or are pro-endo DID systems allowed to answer stuff as well? (Genuine question)

We are looking for data from all forms of plurals/systems reguardless of syscourse stance and or origin. So yes pro-endo DID systems can answer!

so this will be more anecdotal research to add to the rest of the anecdotal research there is for endogenic systems? I was hoping this blog actually had some tangible evidence and information about them. Really interested in learning.

Not necessarily the information collected is going towards many different studies including but not limited to a new theory that would explain and support all forms of plurality, proving non-traumagenic plurality through experiences and data analysis, and other unspecified research such as the link between plurality and imaginary friends.
