Happy pride month everyone <3
snoopy of the day
Already know I wanna send this to people on June 1
Audio:
Erika, referencing ebenezer scrooge: You, boy! What day is it?!
Brennan, as a young boy: It's Pride, bitch!
#happypridemonth
if i could sum up this Montreal Victoire Walter Cup parade/celebration/gathering, i'd say 3 things:
1. i love this team so much, montreal loves them so much, and they love us right back
2. huge crowd! that was so fun to see and to be a part of! all these people coming out for a victory celebration, all for women's hockey!
3. *tuba noises* ❤️ (thanks bou!)
WHAT DO YOU MEAN JUNE STARTS IN 2 DAYS IT WAS DECEMBER 2 HOURS AGO
Happy Lizard Fashion Day to those who celebrate.
I've put us all on a group chat. TBC on fun name, but I was thinking "Gays, Theys and Abby".
They're all so dumb. I love them.
deadloch saying "there are no good cops" and "good people cannot work within the carceral system without compromising what makes them good" and "the compromises good cops make hurt marginalised people just as much as the actions of intentionally bad cops" and then actually following through on those statements by having dulcie and eddie quit rather than continue to uphold a broken and harmful and corrupt system (even with good intentions) is actually so powerful we can retire the procedural completely i think
I just wish that I had been more careful with my best friend because I would do anything to get them back. Them/her.
Deadloch 1.08 (2023)
you love lesbians. you supports women's rights AND wrongs. you like when people get a little funky with their gender. you want a cop show that grapples questions of police brutality, corruption, and copaganda. you like when indigenous justice and Land Back are addressed in themes of a show. you love dark comedy, you love women, and damn, you love lesbians so fucking much.
you want to watch Deadloch.
Abby in Deadloch season 2

For those who are coming off the the Heated Rivalry high, may I suggest Season One of Deadloch? It's got everything: toxic masculinity in a sport that is thematically central and yet takes up almost zero minutes of screen time (austrialian football), a squadron of disaster gays figuring their shit out, trope inversion of a genre (a crime show in which all of the murder victims are straight white men), and, most importantly, a BANGER cover of t.A.T.u's "All the Things She Said."
