Baby or no baby for Jennifer Jareau?
So I've been thinking about AJ's pregnancy and how they might deal with it on the show.... I'm pretty sure if it wasn't for JLH's pregnancy they wouldn't hesitate to write it in, it would work well in the arc of the narrative they've created (woman who loses baby, deals with trauma by having another...) Problem is they've already written it in for JLH, which means that they either write the same story twice, or they create another reason why JJ isn't working at the beginning of next season. Am I the only one that thinks they won't write it in? I could see them reassigning JJ for a period of time to another team or giving her a serious injury in the finale that is going to take months to recover from.... Worst case scenario, they don't offer AJ a new contract or she decides not to take it. Not knowing is killing me!

Such exciting news on AJ Cook's pregnancy.
I also completely love that she announced it to her followers on social media first! Not a press release, not a red carpet interview, but direct to the people that love and support her.
Will be interesting to see how the show deals with dueling pregnancies, I don't know if it makes much sense that both characters go through the same storyline, but they'll both be on maternity leave about the same time won't they?

Woah, I am so excited. It’s been an entire year of moaning and speculation and disappointment, but here we are little JJ fandom, we’re here!!
I KNOW I didn’t imagine this other promo. It was on during The Good Wife and had some more scenes from 200, which will probably be JJ having flashbacks or merely scenes they show during the “previously on Criminal Minds” opening to set up the episode. But it’s nowhere online.
That one is now up on Criminal Minds Roundtable...
CBS is once again looking to spin off one of its major crime drama franchises: EW has learned that Criminal Minds will have a new planted spinoff episode later this season.
The as-yet-untitled project focuses on a “division of the FBI that helps American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad.” We’re told the show is likely to have an entirely different cast than the original series, which is on its 10th year, but network sources say that factor has yet to be determined.
Thoughts on the spin-off:
1) If it works out and Erica Messer is involved, perhaps someone else can take the helm at CM instead of her? (Yes please).
2) If it's not really a 'spin off' in the sense that its set abroad with a different concept, then it could be something good in its own right, it could be kind of cool.
3) If it detracts, financially or creatively, from the original show, I will burn Utica to the ground.
4) Paget Brewster's tweet (and A.J. Cooks silence) speak volumes. No one on the show can openly speak out against the idea, but Paget can do what she wants now, and she doesn't sound pleased...

So, I have not seen the 200 commentary. (AJ Cook talking about JJ is something I must avoid at all costs to stop head from exploding) But, apparently, she said the deleted scene with JJ/Wll and Henry was too dark to include.

Having listened to the commentary the implication is they stopped shooting because it was super late and Mekhai couldn't really handle it anymore (both being tired and seeing AJ upset)...
