Ana from Overwatch. Toriel from Undertale.
List a decent amount of female characters with varying, realistic body sizes (big tits and skinny compared to smaller tits and skinny doesnât count).
Mei and Zarya from Overwatch. Toriel, Alphys and Catty (Iâd also include Mad Dummy, since in my HC sheâs female) from Undertale.
Expanding on that, list a decent amount of female characters who have varying face or facial feature shapes.
List a decent amount of female characters who appear to be battle hardened and scarred and rugged like their male counterparts, rather than soft-skinned and youthful.
Zarya from Overwatch and Undyne from Undertale. And Chica, Mangle and Ballora from FNAF if you will.
List a decent amount of female characters that are legitimately ugly (and not bitter and angry over the fact that they are ugly to remind us that being pretty is the most important thing to a woman), or just conventionally unattractive.
List a decent amount of female characters who arenât light skinned.
Symmetra, D.Va, Ana, Pharah, Orisa, Mei and Sombra from Overwatch
Ruby Malone from Heavy Rain.
Shelly from Pokémon.
List a decent amount of female characters who are totally butch, meaning they display absolutely zero feminine qualities. Alternatively, list a decent amount of female characters (that are supposed to be likeable) who revel in and are completely in control of their femininity, characters who choose to be girly and wear pink and dresses and bows in their hair and enjoy makeup and are âexactly like other girlsâ. I want characters who are this way because they want to be, not just so you can tell them apart from their male counterparts.

And when I first played Pokémon D/P I thought Mars was a male.
List a decent amount of female characters whose costumes have no cleavage windows, or some other awkward patch of skin that you probably wonât see on a male character, or isnât really tight-fitting or shapely. (Or wearing heels/creating the illusion that theyâre wearing heels, something thatâs dying down a bit, thankfully.)
Toriel, Undyne, Alphys, (Mad Dummy), Muffet, Bratty and Catty from Undertale. In fact, the only character with cleavage we see is the Bunny merchant from Snowdin. And the only character we see in heels is Mettaton, who is a male.
All female characters in Overwatch except Widowmaker. And Ok, Mercy is in heels, but she flies.Â
List a decent amount of female characters who are surrounded by a decent amount of other female characters if theyâre a member of a group of something, rather than being the only female in the group among many men. Bonus points if this group she is apart of isnât known for being an all-female division of something.

List a decent amount of female characters who have never once been depicted as the voice of reason, or the tough-girl-who-shoots-shit-and-does-it-better-than-the-boys-while-still-remaining-to-be-sexy-the-whole-time.
All Undertale girls except from maybe Toriel.

Lusamine, Mars, Jupiter, Athena, Courtney and Shelly from Pokémon.
GLADOS from portal.
List a decent amount of female characters whose abilities have never once been sexualized, or feminized for what seems to be for the sole sake of reminding you that this character is a female (Lilith from Borderlandsâ skill tree comes to mind in terms of needless feminization).
If this female character is known to be trained by anyone, list a decent amount of them that werenât trained by a man (because the only way a woman can be strong is if sheâs taught by a man, you know).
Ok, Undyne was indeed trained by Asgore and/or Gerson, and I donât know much about the Overwatch gals to say so⊠I admit defeat here.Â
List a decent amount of female characters whose backstory is just as in-depth and well written as their male counterpartsâ. List a decent amount of female characters that can hold their own story without any help from the other characters.

List a decent amount of female characters who are something other than human. List a decent amount of them that donât conform to humanityâs ideas of beauty somehow. (Also, give me some non-mammals that donât have any tits.)
What I mean by that is that the gaming world is evolving, shifting, changing with times. Princess Peach first appeared in 1985. Sheâs no longer an acceptable example. However, as you can see, thanks to the rise of the indie industry, more independent minds are starting to work their way into the industry, breaking stereotypes and labels. People like you, who keep pointing out problems, are important in their own right, but you have to learn to also give props to the creatives that advance the industry. Point out to some positive examples. Give us role models to follow.Â
And keep in mind, Iâm not a gamer. These are the example that came into my head with the little amount of games I play/know about.Â
