i personally love the energy of "jonathans serious trauma scenes interrupted by another episode of "renfields doing something weird again and seward is too weak to stop him"" so much i think in future adaptations every serious scene should be interrupted at its climax by a short update on seward and renfield doing something.doesnt even have to be plot relevant just needs to ruin the tension, it then cuts back to continuing the serious scene like nothing ever happened
