Hi everyone. My friend and I created this petition after my wheelchair almost tipped and sent me flying into oncoming traffic yesterday. I am terrified to go anywhere on my own because the city I live is so inaccessible in terms of sidewalks that I often have to go on the road.

I know that I'm not the only disabled person that deals with this, and sadly, won't be the last. We've tried to make this petition inclusive to the world because we know Canada isn't the only country dealing with this. Please share this across Tumblr, disabled people deserve equitable access to public spaces! 🥰
