That’s a good point about the Panther release date! JFC, it’s like they are actively setting up their “diversity” movies for failure so that they can point at the numbers to justify their 18th Iron Man film.

yeah okay but let’s not ignore that the ant-man sequel is ‘ant-man and the wasp,’ with a female colead. and that the black panther is coming out in february, black history month. and that in recent years february has had some success, like the lego movie. 

they took a chance on putting out gotg in another dump period, and that payed off. so i wouldn’t be too quick to assume this will be any different.
