You can only reblog this on the 3st of January
the 3st huh?
this year will be wonderful. you will meet new people who will feel like sunlight. someone out there will be lucky enough to meet you. you will see breathtaking views. you will learn so much knowledge from your studies and gain so much wisdom. there will be bad days but you will heal and start again in the morning. you will discover what makes you happy. you will fill up journals with scribbles and messy drawings. you will feel low and make mistakes but they will help you become a stronger person. you will pick up new things that give your life meaning and you will pour your heart into it. you will find songs that speak to you more than anything else in the world. you will grow. this year is waiting for you and itās beautiful.

Today is the day this toucan discovered a traffic cam

Missed this last year by 50 effing minutes.
Hell yeah Iām scheduling this again.
I would like to wish everyone an uneventful new year
Itās only November and this is already getting notes again, you guys are really manifesting this energy early for the new year
We would like to live in Less Interesting Times please
I like my apocalypses one at a time please.
Consecutive, not concurrent.
As much as I want to support ethical farming practices I will be buying the cheapest bag of frozen chicken thighs as much as the next frugal/poor person which is why animal welfare needs to be legislated, not left up to the invisible hand of the free market or some bullshit. Invisible hand of the free market finds itself around a lot of throats.
āsync your contactsā iād rather be waterboarded to death actually tysm tho
im gonna leave my sticks here. nobody touch them ok

MY STICKS- wait, no, they're fine? ...you guys are being really considerate! I'm amazed nobody's messed with my sticks yet
two more days to go. can we hold fast and resist the sticktouching urges? only time will tell
in order to remove the sexual stigma placed on breasts, we must move past the act of shaming people who are brave enough to go topless in public. myself and another transfem friend went topless at our local pride parade not because we were trying to be "sexual" at pride, but to protest the idea that some chests are viewed as inherently sexual and illegal to be viewed publicly, while some are not. it's not a sexual act for someone with breasts to take their shirt off.
i did not have anyone give me rude or sexual comments. i received a lot of approving nods, thumbs up and polite compliments, people were even reminding me that that's the spirit of pride, and hoped that they were brave enough to do the same in the future.
sometimes it's nearly 100 degrees and people with breasts get dangerously overheated. sometimes people with breasts just don't want to wear a shirt. their breasts are not an object for you to get upset about. their breasts are not an object for you to make a moral argument about. their breasts are a part of their body, and they're not scarring or hurting anyone by existing, they are another organ on the human body and someone else's breasts are not up for you to debate about.
actually you know what that's exactly it i would rather someone add 5 parantheticals after every sentence than use tone indicators it's 1. accomplishing SO much more in terms of clarity 2. extremely funny to look at depending on how they're used
observe:
"is this real? /gen" ā i thought /gen meant "general" for ages. i would not be able to understand this on first sight a few years ago and is thus ineffective
"is this real? (genuine question)" ā i fully understand this without issue
"is this real? (genuine question) (can't tell) (very realistic) (looks real) (scary) (photoshop?)" ā is not only incredibly clear it's also very funny to read all of these thoughts stapled together while also in their own parentheses. it's also the most useful because now i can actually address all parts of what they are asking me with as much specificity as BOTH of us need
parentheses my beloved (they are for bonus thoughts) (and questions) ( and sidetracks) (like a 2nd conversation on top of the first)
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. The silence is deafening.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. Half of them require you to create an account on the company website. You leave a trail of ghost accounts that will be used once and never again. You never receive a response.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. One employer offers an interview, but it's so rare for you to receive any response that you forget to check the website and you miss the time.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. One employer offers an interview, but you don't know the magic words that signal to the esoteric mind of an interviewer that you're fit for the job.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. One employer e-mails you saying that 'unfortunately, you do not have the qualifications we are looking for'. You check the job again and see you applied to be a menial labourer.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. Half of them require a car. No one stops to ask how you're supposed to afford one with no job.
You apply for 20 jobs on Indeed. One employer offers a job. The commute makes you want to die in your sleep.
You call the HR manager for the workplace in hopes of arranging an interview more directly. They don't even have an answering machine.
Employers complain that no one wants to work anymore.
I used to call myself a tomboy. And still do, though for somewhat different reasons.
I liked going outside and climbing trees and pokemon (which my grandmother called "too violent for girls")
However, I also liked dresses. I liked makeup and nails and doing all sorts of stereotypical girl things!
I basically never fitted the definition of tomboy. But I didn't realize that until I noticed other tomboys, who didn't seem to like the same feminine things I did.
I thought I was a tomboy because I thought tomboy meant "a girl who felt like a boy." Meanwhile I was the complete opposite of a tomboy. I was actually a femboy!
Today I use both terms to describe how I present my gender as a bigender gender fluid person.
awesome, thanks for sharing!!!
I reblogged this yesterday, but its been living in my head since then.
I feel the exact opposite (in a good way).
I'm amab, and still am male presenting, currently. However, at heart I'm a tomboy. I want to be masculine, but in the most feminine way you can imagine. I want to wear dresses, but also have the option of donning my "boy clothes" because girls can do anything boys can.
I don't fully know how to explain how I want to express myself, but I do know that the bracelet around me wrist fills me with so much jealousy (in a gender envy way) for the cool girl wearing it that my heart begins to sing.
transfem tomboys are cool as hell pass it on.
transfem tomboys and transfem butches kissing and holding hands š peace and love on planet earth

heartbreaking:
girl has sooooooo many ambitions and ideas for projects but can only get 1.5 basic tasks done per day
This is for the people who didnāt party in their teens and twenties. For the people who didnāt have that ācoming of ageā movie experience with shenanigans and revelations. This is for the people who mostly keep to themselves. Who maybe prefer things to be quieter and gentler. This is for the people who donāt feel like they belong in a culture that values loud parties and flashing lights. I see you. And you are valid.
