Summary: Some Kook girl spreads a rumor that she hooked up with Rafe—just to piss you off. When you confront him, it turns into an argument where you start to doubt him. But Rafe? He refuses to let you walk away.
You weren’t even looking for drama tonight.
You just wanted a chill night at the party—have a drink, dance a little, maybe even get Rafe to actually behave himself for once. But no. Instead, you had to hear some random girl tell everyone that she hooked up with your boyfriend.
At first, you laughed it off.
Because really? Rafe Cameron? Cheating on you? Not a chance.
But then you saw her—smirking, flicking her eyes in your direction, looking entirely too pleased with herself. And suddenly, you weren’t so sure.
So now here you were, arms crossed, standing in front of Rafe, daring him to explain.
“She’s saying you hooked up,” you snapped, voice sharper than intended. “Are you gonna deny it, or just stand there looking like an asshole?”
Rafe, leaning against the counter with his beer, just sighed—like this was a mild inconvenience rather than a full-on crisis.
“Babe, really?” He raised a brow. “You actually believe her?”
You hesitated.
And that hesitation? Oh, Rafe did not like that.
His jaw ticked, and suddenly, he was pushing off the counter, closing the space between you in two slow steps.
“Let me get this straight,” he murmured, towering over you now. “You think I’d let some desperate, pathetic Kook girl anywhere near me—when I have you?”
You hated that he said it like that—like it was the most ridiculous accusation ever. Like you should’ve just known better.
You huffed, looking away. “I don’t know, Rafe. You weren’t exactly shutting her down.”
His fingers tilted your chin up, forcing you to look at him.
“I don’t even know her name,” he scoffed, shaking his head. “You really think I’d fuck around on you? You think I’d risk losing you for some nobody?”
Your stomach flipped at how serious he looked—blue eyes dark, lips pressed into a firm line.
You swallowed. “…I don’t know.”
That was the wrong answer.
Rafe’s gaze hardened. “Bullshit.” He stepped closer, voice dropping lower. “You know damn well, no matter how mad you get at me, we’re always gonna work it out.”
You blinked up at him, heart hammering. “Rafe—”
“No, listen to me.” His voice was firm now, like he was making a point you weren’t allowed to argue. “You don’t get to walk away over this. Not from me.”
You sucked in a breath, nails digging into your palms. “You act like I don’t have a choice.”
Rafe grinned. “You don’t.”
His fingers curled around your jaw, holding you in place. “Because I love you. And I don’t give a shit how upset you are, you’re still mine.”
Your breath hitched. Your body was betraying you, leaning into him even as your brain told you to stay mad.
Rafe’s smirk turned smug. He could feel you giving in.
“You wanna be mad at me?” His fingers traced your jaw, down to your neck. “Fine. But don’t ever doubt that I’m yours.”
Then, just to make his point, he turned his head slightly—locking eyes with that girl across the room. The one who started all this.
And then?
He kissed you.
Hard.
His hand gripped your waist, pulling you so close there wasn’t a single inch of space between you. His other hand slid into your hair, tilting your head back, deepening the kiss.
He made a point to make it slow. Intense. Unapologetic.
By the time he pulled back, you were breathless, fingers curled into his shirt.
Rafe leaned in, lips brushing against your ear, voice low and smug.
“Nice try, though.”
Across the room, the girl’s expression was pure embarrassment.
And Rafe? Rafe just grinned—like he had just won the best game he’d ever played.
You sighed. “You’re such an asshole.”
Rafe just laughed, squeezing your hip. “Yeah, but I’m your asshole.”
You were deep in sleep, warm and tucked under the sheets, when you felt movement beside you. At first, it was subtle—just the shifting of weight, the dip of the mattress as Rafe adjusted himself. But then came the soft press of lips against your skin, trailing down your stomach, followed by a teasing, cocky whisper.
“Don’t freak out, baby. Just need a little taste.”
You barely had time to register what he meant before—well, let’s just say sleep was no longer an option.
Forty-five minutes later and more than a few protests that turned into moans, Rafe finally collapsed beside you with a content sigh, pulling you into his arms like he hadn’t just spent nearly an hour worshipping you. He was still catching his breath, fingers lazily tracing shapes on your hip as he grinned to himself.
You, on the other hand, were still in shock. “Rafe.”
“Mmm?” He sounded way too pleased with himself.
“What the hell was that?”
He turned his head, pressing slow, deliberate kisses along your jawline, then nuzzled into your neck. “That, my love, was me proving why you should never doubt how obsessed I am with you.*
You scoffed, tilting your head to look at him. “Obsessed?”
“Hopelessly.” His lips curved against your skin, arms tightening around you. “I mean, come on, I just woke up to make you feel good. Do I get a boyfriend of the year award or what?”
You rolled your eyes. “More like menace of the year. Who wakes someone up like that?”
Rafe pulled back just enough to meet your gaze, his blue eyes filled with amusement. “A very dedicated man. A boyfriend who loves his girl so much that he just couldn’t help himself.” He grinned. “And, judging by how you were squirming, you weren’t exactly complaining.”
Heat rushed to your cheeks, and you smacked his arm. “Shut up.”
“Make me.” He smirked, leaning in for another kiss, but you turned your head at the last second, making him huff dramatically. “Oh, so you’re gonna be mean to me now? After I spent all that time—”
“Rafe.” You cut him off with a deadpan look.
He chuckled, tucking you closer against his chest, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. “Fine, fine. But don’t act so shocked, baby. You should know by now—I’m crazy about you.”
You exhaled, finally relaxing into him, feeling his steady heartbeat against your cheek. “Yeah, yeah.”
He grinned. “Admit it, you love it.”
You rolled your eyes but didn’t argue. Because, well… maybe he had a point.
And Rafe? He knew it too.

summary: While waiting for JJ to get done showering you make yourself comfortable in the bathroom.
The faint sound of running water echoed through the small bathroom, accompanied by the occasional off-key hum of JJ Maybank belting out some old country tune. You leaned against the bathroom sink, tapping your nails against the side of your smoothie cup. Ten minutes had passed, then fifteen, and now it was creeping into twenty, and JJ still wasn’t done.
You sighed dramatically before making the executive decision to enter the bathroom. The Pogues had crashed at John B’s for the weekend, and with six of you sharing one bathroom, time was precious.
“I’m coming in, JJ,” you called through the door, smoothie in hand.
“Go for it,” his muffled voice replied casually.
You opened the door and found the bathroom hazy with steam, the glass shower door fogged up. JJ was somewhere behind it, the outline of his form visible. Without hesitation, you plopped down on the closed toilet lid, phone in one hand and smoothie in the other.
A laugh came from behind the glass. “What the hell are you doing?” JJ asked, his voice amused but not surprised.
“Waiting for you. You’ve been in here forever,” you replied nonchalantly, scrolling through your phone. “Thought I might as well get comfy. And hydrated.” You took a sip of your smoothie.
JJ chuckled, the sound warm and familiar. “This is normal to you? Just camping out while I’m showering?”
“Yeah, pretty much,” you quipped. “Besides, I needed an audience for my smoothie.” You waved the cup in the air even though he couldn’t see it.
“Okay, smoothie critic,” he teased. “What flavor is it?”
“Pineapple and mango with a hint of coconut,” you said proudly.
“That’s a lot of tropical going on. Let me try it,” he said.
“You’re literally in the shower.”
“So? Hand it over,” JJ insisted, sliding open the shower door just enough to stick his hand out. His wet arm dripped water onto the tile.
“You’re so dramatic,” you muttered, standing up and placing the smoothie into his hand. “Don’t you dare get soap in it!”
JJ took a sip, smacked his lips together like a wine connoisseur, and hummed. “Not bad, but it’s missing something.”
“Yeah? What?”
He grinned, sliding the door open wider so you could see his wet hair plastered to his head and the mischievous glint in his eye. “Kiss.”
You rolled your eyes but leaned forward anyway, brushing your lips against his in a quick, sweet kiss. His hand came up to cup your cheek, and you let the kiss linger for a moment before pulling back.
“There. Now it’s perfect,” you said with a smirk, grabbing your smoothie back.
“Careful, you’ll get hooked on me,” JJ joked, leaning back into the shower as he closed the door.
“More like hooked on smoothies,” you shot back, resuming your seat on the toilet and your scrolling.
The banter didn’t end there. JJ spent the next few minutes dramatically describing his plans to open a smoothie shop, insisting that he’d name a drink after you. “Something fiery and unpredictable,” he said.
“I’m flattered, really,” you replied dryly, stifling a laugh.
When JJ finally finished his shower, he wrapped a towel around his waist and struck a mock heroic pose in front of you. “Your savior has arrived,” he declared.
“Finally,” you said, standing up and tossing your empty smoothie cup at him. “I hope you didn’t use all the hot water.”
As you both left the bathroom, the rest of the Pogues were lounging in the living room. John B raised an eyebrow. “What took you so long in there?”
“She was supervising me,” JJ answered with a grin, ruffling his damp hair.
“Supervising or flirting?” Kie teased, smirking knowingly.
“Both,” you shot back, ignoring the heat rising to your cheeks.
“Classic,” Pope muttered, shaking his head as JJ threw an arm around your shoulder.
“Come on, I’ll make us another smoothie,” JJ said, leading you toward the kitchen.
As the others laughed and teased behind you, JJ leaned down to whisper in your ear, “Next time, bring snacks to our bathroom hangouts. I’m thinking chips.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t hide your smile. Life with JJ Maybank was never boring.

summary: At a wild frat party, you get frustrated with JJ for ignoring you while he hangs with his frat brothers.
The party was in full swing, music thumping loud enough to rattle the windows, red Solo cups everywhere. You weaved through the throng of people, trying to keep up with JJ as he stopped every five seconds to fist-bump someone, down a beer, or laugh obnoxiously at some inside joke with his frat brothers.
“JJ,” you tugged on his arm, leaning closer so he could hear you. “Can we just hang out for a bit? Alone?”
He grinned at you, but his eyes darted to the pong table across the room. “Just a sec, babe. Gotta crush Pete and Logan real quick. I’ll find you after, okay?”
Before you could respond, he was gone, swept up in the chaos of his fraternity’s party. You exhaled sharply, annoyance bubbling in your chest. Rolling your eyes, you spun around and headed toward your friend, Riley, who was standing near the kitchen.
“JJ ditch you for his bros again?” Riley teased, handing you a fresh drink.
“Shocker, right?” you muttered, taking a sip.
As the two of you talked, a guy wearing a sweatshirt with the logo of JJ’s rival frat strolled up to you, a cocky grin plastered across his face. “Hey, haven’t seen you around here before. You a Chi Alpha girl?”
You raised an eyebrow. “Nope. Just here for the beer pong champion who’s too busy to hang out with me.”
“Ah, classic Delta Nu. They’re always like that,” he said, leaning a little too close. “Maybe you need someone who actually pays attention to you.”
Before you could respond, you heard a familiar voice cut through the music. “Hey, buddy, back off.”
You turned to see JJ storming over, jaw tight and eyes blazing. He shoved the guy back a step, beer sloshing out of the guy’s cup.
“Seriously, JJ?” you snapped, folding your arms.
“He was hitting on you,” JJ said, glaring at the guy.
“Maybe if you weren’t too busy for me, I wouldn’t have to entertain myself!” you shot back.
The guy smirked, clearly enjoying the drama. “Looks like you’ve got some issues to work out, man.”
That was the wrong thing to say. JJ lunged at him, but a few of his brothers grabbed his arms, pulling him back. “Not worth it, bro,” one of them muttered.
JJ huffed, clearly still fuming. He turned back to you, and before you could protest, he grabbed you by the waist and threw you over his shoulder like you weighed nothing.
“JJ! Put me down!” you shouted, pounding your fists on his back.
“Nope. You’re coming with me,” he said, ignoring your protests as he carried you up the stairs to his room.
Once inside, he kicked the door shut and set you down on his bed. “Alright, princess, let’s talk.”
You crossed your arms, still fuming. “Talk? Now you want to talk?”
He stepped closer, his hands on either side of your hips. “I’m sorry, okay? I was being an idiot.”
“Yeah, you were,” you said, turning your head when he leaned in to kiss you.
JJ chuckled, clearly amused by your defiance. “Oh, you’re mad mad, huh?”
“Gee, what gave it away?” you deadpanned.
He cupped your face, forcing you to look at him. “I’m really sorry, babe. Let me make it up to you.”
“How?” you asked skeptically, raising an eyebrow.
His lips crashed into yours before you could say anything else. At first, you resisted, but his hand slid down to your waist, pulling you flush against him as his tongue grazed your bottom lip. You couldn’t help the soft gasp that escaped, and he took full advantage, deepening the kiss until your frustration began to melt.
When he pulled back, his lips brushed against your jaw as he murmured, “I’ve been a shitty boyfriend tonight, but let me show you how much I hate when you’re mad at me.”
You swallowed, your annoyance quickly giving way to something else entirely. “This better be good, JJ.”
He smirked, his voice low as he trailed kisses down your neck. “Oh, babe, you won’t be thinking about anyone else by the time I’m done.”

summary: Life with Ivy, your lively three-year-old, is full of love, laughter, and chaos, with the Pogues always in on the fun
Life at the Chateau was never boring, especially with a three-year-old running around. Ivy, your daughter with John B, was the heart and soul of the Pogues. At just three years old, she had already mastered the art of sarcasm—thanks in large part to JJ—and was a constant source of laughter for the group.
This morning, chaos erupted when Ivy woke up before everyone else and decided to paint JJ’s face with your makeup.
“Why does it smell like lavender in here?” John B asked groggily, stumbling into the living room to find Ivy perched on JJ’s lap with a lipstick in her hand.
JJ glared at him. “Your daughter is a menace.”
“She’s an artist,” Ivy corrected, holding up a makeup brush. “Uncle JJ needed to be fancy.”
John B burst out laughing, leaning against the doorway for support. “You look… beautiful, man.”
“Don’t,” JJ warned, pointing a finger at him. “I’m doing this for her self-esteem.”
“Sure you are,” Kiara chimed in as she strolled into the room. “Let me grab my phone. This is going on the wall of fame.”
“No!” JJ protested, but it was too late.
You emerged from the kitchen, mug of tea in hand, shaking your head at the scene. “What did I miss?”
“Oh, nothing,” John B said, grinning. “Just JJ’s makeover.”
Your eyes fell on Ivy’s handiwork, and you couldn’t help but laugh. “You know, Ivy, I think Uncle JJ would look even fancier with some glitter.”
JJ groaned. “Don’t encourage her!”
“She’s got talent,” you replied, smirking as you kissed the top of Ivy’s head. “Maybe next time, you’ll think twice before teaching her how to ‘prank.’”
John B wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you close. “You’re enjoying this too much.”
“Oh, absolutely,” you said, leaning into him. “This is parenting gold.”
Later in the day, everyone piled into the van for a trip to the beach. You sat in the passenger seat, Ivy on your lap as John B drove.
“Mommy, can I wear Daddy’s hat?” Ivy asked, reaching for John B’s cap.
“It’s too big for you, kiddo,” he said, adjusting the rearview mirror.
“I don’t care,” Ivy replied, pouting.
“She’s definitely your kid,” you teased, nudging John B.
“Hey, I don’t pout,” he argued.
“Yeah, okay,” you said with a smirk, earning an eye roll from him. He reached over to squeeze your thigh playfully, his grin widening when you swatted his hand away with a laugh.
At the beach, Ivy wasted no time declaring herself “Queen of the Sandcastle” and assigning everyone roles. “Uncle Pope, you get the shells!” she commanded, pointing to the shoreline. “Auntie Kie, you do the decorations!”
“What about me?” JJ asked, crouching next to her.
“You dig the moat,” Ivy said matter-of-factly.
“And me?” John B asked, raising an eyebrow.
“You’re my helper, Daddy.”
“What about Mommy?”
Ivy thought for a moment. “Mommy gets to watch.”
You laughed, sitting back in your chair. “Finally, someone appreciates me.”
The afternoon passed in a blur of laughter and sand. The Pogues built an elaborate sandcastle that Ivy promptly destroyed, claiming it was “time for a big wave.”
“Kid’s got a Godzilla streak,” JJ said, shaking his head as Ivy stomped on the remains of their work.
“She gets it from you,” Kiara teased.
“Excuse me?” JJ replied, mock-offended. “I’m a builder, not a destroyer.”
“Sure you are,” Cleo said, smirking.
By the time the sun began to set, everyone was gathered around a bonfire. Ivy sat in John B’s lap, her eyelids drooping as she tried to stay awake.
“Tell me a story, Daddy,” she mumbled, her head resting against his chest.
“Alright,” he said, brushing her curls out of her face. “Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Ivy who was the bravest and smartest kid in the whole world.”
“That’s me!” she said sleepily, making everyone laugh.
“Yep, that’s you,” John B said softly, kissing her forehead.
You couldn’t help but watch the scene with a full heart. John B caught your gaze and smiled, tilting his head slightly. “What?”
“Nothing,” you said, shaking your head. “Just… I love you.”
His smile deepened as he reached out to take your hand, threading his fingers through yours. “I love you too.”
When you got back to the Chateau, Ivy was already asleep. John B carried her to bed, tucking her in with her favorite stuffed bunny while you cleaned up the sand-covered bags.
As he came back into the living room, you were curled up on the couch, scrolling through your phone. He flopped down next to you, resting his head on your shoulder.
“She’s got everyone wrapped around her little finger,” he said with a chuckle.
“She’s got you wrapped the most,” you teased, nudging him playfully.
“Yeah, well,” he said, grinning as he pressed a kiss to your cheek. “I’m okay with that.”
You turned to face him, your hands finding their way to his chest. “You’re a good dad, you know that?”
He shrugged, his expression softening. “I try. But I’ve got you, so that makes it easier.”
You leaned in, your lips brushing against his. “We’re a pretty good team, huh?”
“The best,” he murmured, pulling you closer.
The sound of waves crashing in the distance filled the room as he kissed you again, slow and warm. Life with Ivy and the Pogues wasn’t always easy, but it was always full of love. And that was all you needed.

Notes : Kook JJ would be an absolute menace and he would be best friends with Rafe, you can't convince me otherwise
It'd been an unusual amount of time since you'd heard from JJ, usually he would be hassling you to join him at the country club or to join him and Rafe at Tannyhill, or he'd just show up at your house out of the blue. So when it had been about 12 hours since you'd heard from him, you got concerned. But you weren't concerned that something had happened to him, no, you were concerned that he had gotten himself into some trouble by doing something stupid with Rafe. Again. When the time on your phone showed that it was now 2am, you decided to give up on waiting to hear from him and to just go to sleep. But of course, typical as ever, as soon as you began to drift off, your phone's blaring ring tone woke you up. After being with JJ for a year, you'd learnt that it was best not to put your phone on silent, considering he would call you at all sorts of times for all sorts of reasons.
You picked your phone up, your eyes squinting as you read the words, Kildare Sheriffs Department, on the screen and you groaned, "Hello?"
"This is Shoupe, just thought I'd let you know you might want to come get your boy. I've just received some noise complaints about some get together him and Rafe are having," The way he delivered the message sounded very well rehearsed and it didn't surprise you since phone calls like this were incredibly regular for you to receive, "they're somewhere down on the beach."
"Yeah, thanks Shoupe." You sighed, hanging up the phone and pulling on a pair of shorts with one of JJ's t-shirts you'd already been wearing. When complaints about JJ came in, Shoupe tended to just call you to deal with it considering the two times he had detained JJ had resulted in a mass of complaints that he couldn't be bothered to put up with on the regular. You left your house and climbed into your car and made the short drive over to the part of the beach they frequented, when you got there you groaned at the load music playing from the speakers of Rafe's truck.
You got out the car and made you way to where you could see JJ and Rafe sat on a log, sharing a blunt between them, JJ let out a loud holler when he saw you, raising his arms in a cheer, his face dropping when he saw the glare he was receiving from you.
"Oh hey, mama. What's with the face, huh?" He feigned innocence, though the smirk lining his lips told you he knew exactly why.
"Noise complaint. Again. It's two in the fucking morning, J." You raised your brows, snatching the beer from his hand he bought it up to his lips and taking a swig of it, turning your nose up at how warm the beverage was, "I was going to sleep when I got the call."
He mockingly pouted at you, "Oh 'm sorry, baby. C'mere," he tapped his thigh, beckoning you to come sit on his lap causing you to roll your eyes and let him place his hands on. your waist and pull you down onto him, "there, all better now, huh."
You huffed and lay your head on his shoulder, ignoring Rafe's drunken snickering from behind you. You lasted a total of two minutes before you grew tired of the pounding music, "I wanna go home." You mumbled into JJ's ear, also hoping to kill the party by getting JJ to leave.
"Shit, yeah okay. Let's go get you into bed, huh?" He pulled you out of his lap and stood, swinging an arm around your shoulders and finishing off his beer.
"So fuckin' whipped, man." Rafe chuckled from besides you, "Get her back in one piece, can't have us gettin' in trouble without her there to get us out f'it."
JJ laughed and slapped Rafe's shoulder, "See you tomorrow, man."
He pulled you tighter into his side and pressed a kiss to your temple as he walked you both in the direction of your car. The drive back to your place was silent, he rested a hand on your thigh and you could feel his eyes on you as you kept yours on the road while you drove. By the time you got home it was half three, as soon as the both of you were in your bedroom you pulled off your shorts and climbed into bed, rubbing your eyes in exhaustion. You could hear the rustling of clothes as JJ got undressed and slipped into bed beside you in just his boxers. His arm slid around your waist and he pressed a few apologetic kisses to your exposed neck, you hummed and rolled over to face him, laying your head on his bare chest, "Thanks for coming home when I asked."
" 'S no problem, mama. But I um-" he cut himself off clearing his throat like he was debating confessing something to you.
A sigh of annoyance escaped you, "What've you done?" You murmured half asleep.
"I uh, I may have gotten into some debt with Barry that I need help with cause I've been cut off for a couple of weeks..." He admitted sheepishly, causing you to let out a disgruntled groan.
You tangled your legs between his and whispered, "Just shut up and go to sleep," not wanting to have to listen to how he'd been cut off yet again for spending his money on stupid things, yet again, you didn't even bother to ask if Rafe could pay if off, knowing that if JJ had been cut off then Rafe probably had too, "I'll deal with it in the morning."
"Love you, baby." He drawled, bringing a hand up from where it had rested on your waist to run through your hair soothingly, you hummed in acknowledgement as you drifted off, mentally preparing yourself for another day being spent getting JJ out of trouble.
Please lmk what you guys think, I'd love to hear from you! I'll also be happy to try and write any requests you may have <3
summary: Rafe steps out of his comfort zone to join the Pogues for a beach night.
The beach was alive with the usual chaos that defined the Pogues. JJ was digging through a cooler for beer, Kie was setting up a makeshift bonfire, and Pope was arguing with John B over whose turn it was to collect firewood. You sat on a blanket, watching the sunset over the ocean, your heart racing as Rafe Cameron’s figure loomed in the distance.
“I can’t believe you invited him,” JJ said, shooting you a pointed look as he cracked open a beer. “This is sacred Pogue territory, Y/N.”
“He’s my boyfriend,” you said simply, brushing sand off your legs.
“Yeah, unfortunately,” JJ muttered under his breath.
Sarah shot him a look. “Give him a chance, JJ. If Y/N can handle his crazy ass, we can for one night.”
You turned to see Rafe walking toward you, his shoulders slightly tense, his hands shoved in his pockets. The evening light softened his features, but you could tell he was uneasy. He wasn’t exactly a welcome presence among the Pogues, and he knew it.
“You didn’t tell me it’d be this many people,” he murmured when he reached you, leaning down to kiss your temple.
“Rafe, it’s literally just them,” you teased, gesturing toward the group. “You’ll survive.”
He rolled his eyes but sat down next to you, his hand instinctively resting on your knee. The gesture didn’t go unnoticed.
JJ snorted. “Look at him. Acting like he belongs here.”
“JJ,” you warned.
Rafe tensed but didn’t rise to the bait, his thumb rubbing slow circles against your skin. “Nice to see you too, Maybank.”
“Alright, everybody chill,” Sarah interjected, sitting cross-legged on the blanket. She gave Rafe a small smile. “Thanks for coming, Rafe. Even though I know you’re out of your element.”
Rafe raised an eyebrow. “You could say that.”
“Just don’t kill the vibe,” JJ added, plopping down on the other side of you.
The tension was thick at first. Rafe sat quietly, his usual cocky demeanor dimmed in the face of the Pogues’ scrutiny. You felt the weight of his discomfort, and it made you squeeze his hand reassuringly. He looked at you, his blue eyes softening as if to say, I’m doing this for you.
As the night wore on, the tension began to ease. JJ’s antics and John B’s storytelling had everyone laughing, even Rafe cracking a smile here and there.
“Alright, I have to ask,” Kie said, looking directly at Rafe. “How does a Kook prince like you end up with a Pogue queen?”
You groaned, burying your face in your hands. “Kie—”
“No, it’s fine,” Rafe said, surprising you. He leaned back on his hands, glancing at you with a small smirk. “I guess I just like a challenge.”
JJ scoffed, but Kie rolled her eyes. “Seriously, though.”
Rafe’s expression softened as he looked at you. “She’s different. She doesn’t care about any of the crap I used to think mattered. She calls me out when I’m being an idiot, but she also makes me want to be better.”
The Pogues fell silent, exchanging surprised looks. Even JJ looked slightly less annoyed.
“She’s good at that,” Sarah said, smiling at you.
You felt your cheeks heat up, but before you could respond, JJ pointed at Rafe with his beer bottle. “Alright, Cameron, you’re scoring some points. But don’t think I’m not watching you.”
“Duly noted,” Rafe replied dryly, earning a laugh from John B.
As the night wound down, you and Rafe wandered a little farther down the beach, away from the firelight and the laughter of your friends. The ocean waves crashed gently against the shore, and the cool breeze tugged at your hair.
“See? That wasn’t so bad,” you said, bumping his shoulder playfully.
He huffed a laugh, wrapping an arm around your waist. “They hate me.”
“They don’t hate you,” you assured him. “They’re just…protective.”
He stopped walking, turning to face you. “And you’re worth protecting.”
You rolled your eyes, but the sincerity in his gaze made your heart skip. He stepped closer, brushing a strand of hair from your face.
“I mean it,” he said softly. “I know I don’t always fit into your world, but I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure I do. For you.”
Your breath hitched as his thumb traced your cheek, his touch warm and familiar. “Rafe…”
“I love you,” he murmured, his voice barely audible over the waves.
Before you could respond, he leaned down, his lips capturing yours in a kiss that was slow and deliberate, as if he was trying to pour every unspoken word into it. His hands settled on your waist, pulling you closer, and you melted against him, the rest of the world fading away.
When you finally pulled back, his forehead rested against yours, a small smile playing on his lips.
“Alright,” you said, your voice teasing but soft. “You’re forgiven for being awkward.”
“Awkward?” he repeated, feigning offense. “I was charming.”
“You were stiff,” you corrected with a laugh.
He grinned, kissing you again, this time quicker but no less sweet. “You bring me around them enough, and I’ll charm them too.”
“Let’s not push it,” you teased, lacing your fingers with his as you started walking back toward the fire.
In the distance, you could hear JJ yelling, “Hey! No PDA where we can see it!”
Rafe groaned, but you just laughed, pulling him closer. He might not be a Pogue, but tonight, he’d proven he was yours—and that was more than enough.
summary: Rafe and the reader argue over a reckless stunt the reader pulled with the Pogues, escalating into a heated confrontation. The reader diffuses the tension in an unexpected way
The argument had escalated far more than you’d intended. Rafe stood in front of you, his jaw tight, eyes blazing with frustration.
“You’re unbelievable!” he snapped, pacing back and forth, his voice sharp with anger. “Do you even realize how reckless that was? Running around with them, pulling some stupid stunt like that? You could’ve gotten hurt—or worse!”
You sighed, crossing your arms. “They’re my friends, Rafe. You don’t get to tell me what I can and can’t do with them.”
“They’re Pogues!” he shot back, his tone dripping with disdain. “And they’re going to get you killed! You’re not—”
“I am a Pogue!” you interrupted, your voice rising. “And I’m not going to stop being one just because you don’t like it!”
“That’s not the point!” Rafe barked, his hands running through his hair in frustration. “The point is you’re putting yourself in danger for no reason!”
You rolled your eyes, even though deep down, you knew he was right. The stunt you’d pulled with the Pogues earlier—a daring boat jump into rocky waters—had been reckless. But admitting that to Rafe? Not happening.
“You’re overreacting,” you muttered, avoiding his glare.
“Overreacting?” He stepped closer, his blue eyes narrowing. “You were one wrong move away from cracking your head open, and you think I’m overreacting?”
You bit your lip, guilt settling in your chest. He wasn’t wrong, but you hated how smug he’d look if you admitted it. Instead, you crossed your arms tighter and met his glare with your own.
“Okay, fine! I get it!” you snapped. “You’ve made your point. Can you stop yelling now?”
But Rafe wasn’t done. “No, I’m not stopping, because clearly, you don’t get it. You can’t keep pulling this crap and expecting me to just—”
“Rafe,” you interrupted, your voice unusually sweet, but he was too wound up to notice.
“And another thing, you’re so—”
Before he could finish, you grabbed the hem of your top and yanked it up, exposing your bare chest.
The silence was immediate.
Rafe’s mouth opened, then closed. His eyes darted from your face to your chest and back again, his expression shifting from anger to shock, then to something far darker.
“You didn’t just—” he started, his voice lower now, almost husky.
“You were yelling,” you said simply, biting back a smirk.
For a moment, he stood there, clearly torn between finishing the argument and giving in to the temptation in front of him. Then, with a soft curse under his breath, he crossed the room in two long strides.
“You’re impossible,” he murmured, his hands sliding around your waist as he pulled you close.
“And yet, here you are,” you teased, your voice barely a whisper.
He smirked, his lips brushing against yours. “You think you can just flash me and win every argument?”
“Worked, didn’t it?” you shot back, grinning.
Rafe didn’t answer, not with words, anyway. His mouth claimed yours in a heated kiss, the frustration from before melting into something much more electric. His hands roamed your sides, his grip firm, his movements deliberate.
“You’re lucky you’re cute,” he murmured against your lips, his tone laced with amusement and desire.
“And you’re lucky I know how to shut you up,” you replied, your breath hitching as he trailed kisses down your neck.

Hia! Can you do another Peter Parker x Stark! Reader, I absolutely loved your last one. Could the plotline be along the lines of : Tony walks into your room and finds you and Peter asleep cuddling after you snuck him in the night before. Maybe the whole team gets involved and starts taking photos for blackmail 🤣 Thank you!
Caught in the Act
pairing: Peter Parker x stark!reader
summary: read the request
The sunlight streamed through your bedroom curtains, falling perfectly on the two of you. Peter Parker’s arm was draped over your waist, his face nuzzled into your neck. His warm breath tickled your skin, and you groaned softly, stirring from your sleep.
The events of the night before were hazy but thrilling: a whispered phone call, Peter scaling the side of the Avengers Tower, and an impromptu movie marathon that ended with the two of you tangled up in each other’s arms.
Peter shifted in his sleep, his nose brushing against your collarbone. A soft hum escaped him, and you smiled, reaching up to lightly ruffle his messy curls.
“Good morning, lovebirds.”
The unmistakable voice of Tony Stark shattered the moment.
Your eyes snapped open, and your heart dropped. Standing at the foot of your bed was your dad, his arms crossed and an expression caught between amusement and absolute mortification.
“D-Dad?!” you stammered, sitting up abruptly. Peter groaned at the sudden movement, blinking himself awake.
“Morning, Mr. Stark,” Peter mumbled sleepily before realizing where he was and who was standing there. His eyes went wide, and he bolted upright. “MR. STARK! I—uh—this isn’t what it looks like!”
Tony raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at his lips. “Really? Because it looks like Spider-Boy snuck into my daughter’s room and decided to cuddle his way into trouble.”
“Dad, it’s not like that!” you protested, though your flushed face said otherwise.
“Oh, so it’s worse,” Tony quipped, cutting you off. “Got it. And by the way, the entire team is outside, loving this.”
Your jaw dropped. “You didn’t.”
“Oh, I did,” Tony replied smugly. “Because if I have to suffer through this, everyone else does too.”
Right on cue, the door creaked open, and Steve Rogers stepped in, his phone out and snapping a picture. “Morning, kiddos. Cute couple pose, by the way.”
“STEVE!” you yelled, grabbing a pillow and chucking it at him.
Natasha followed, leaning against the doorframe with a smirk. “Aw, I remember young love. You guys were adorable—until Stark called us in for backup.”
“Seriously?” Peter groaned, burying his face in his hands.
“Oh, it’s not just us,” Natasha added as Thor poked his head in.
“Why was I not informed of this bonding moment?” Thor boomed, grinning. “Ah, Spider-Man and Stark’s offspring. A powerful duo!”
“Can you all get out?!” you shouted, grabbing another pillow.
“Not until I get my blackmail photo,” Natasha teased.
Peter tugged you closer, his lips brushing against your ear. “You know, if this keeps up, I might have to climb out the window.”
“Don’t tempt me,” you muttered back, glaring at the group.
Bruce finally showed up, shaking his head with a soft laugh. “Tony, you’ve really outdone yourself this time.”
“I like to think I’m setting the bar,” Tony said smugly.
Finally, the team filtered out, laughing and bantering as they went. Tony lingered for a moment, fixing Peter with a look. “You’re lucky I like you, Parker. But if I catch you sneaking in again, I’ll make sure you regret it.”
“Yes, sir,” Peter stammered.
As the door shut, the room finally fell silent. You let out a sigh, flopping back onto the bed. Peter lay beside you, covering his face with his hands.
“Well,” you started, “that went about as horribly as it could’ve gone.”
Peter groaned. “They’re never going to let me live this down. Your dad is probably going to build a tracker for me now.”
“Probably,” you teased, rolling onto your side to face him.
He peeked at you through his fingers, his face still flushed. “You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”
“Maybe a little,” you admitted with a grin.
Peter leaned in closer, his voice dropping slightly. “You know, we could’ve avoided all of this if you hadn’t convinced me to stay the night.”
You raised an eyebrow, smirking. “I convinced you? Last I checked, you were the one who said, ‘But I can’t leave you now, you’re too cute when you’re sleepy.’”
His cheeks turned redder. “Okay, fine. Maybe I did say that.”
You leaned closer, your lips brushing against his. “Guess you’ll just have to make it up to me later.”
Peter’s breath hitched, but before he could respond, you pulled back, smirking. “Now, get up, Spider-Boy. We’ve got breakfast to deal with—and probably a million jokes from the team.”
“Great,” he muttered, though a small smile tugged at his lips. “But next time, we’re sneaking into my room. May wouldn’t call the Avengers on us.”
“Deal,” you replied, grabbing his hand and pulling him toward the door.
summary: After a wild night of partying, JJ takes care of his drunk girlfriend, enduring her chaotic antics and relentless demands for kisses while the Pogues tease him endlessly.
The music thumped loudly in the background as JJ Maybank maneuvered his way through the crowded beach party, your drunken laughter echoing in his ears. You were practically draped over his shoulder like a giggling mess, your hand clutching the strap of his shirt while your other hand lazily waved at everyone passing by.
“JJ! I’m having so much fun!” you slurred, your face lighting up as you spotted him glancing down at you. “But I need—wait for it—another kiss!”
JJ chuckled, shaking his head. “You don’t need another kiss, princess. You need water. And maybe a nap.”
You pouted dramatically, squirming in his grasp. “Nooo. JJ, you’re being so mean. Just one!”
He stopped for a second, setting you down on your feet so you could look at him with wide, pleading eyes. “What did I just say? Water first, then maybe kisses,” he teased, a crooked grin on his face.
You leaned closer, practically pressing your forehead against his chest as you whined, “But you’re my boyfriend! It’s your job to kiss me whenever I ask.”
“You’re impossible,” JJ said with a sigh, but the fondness in his voice gave him away.
From a few feet away, Sarah, John B, Pope, and Kiara watched the scene unfold, laughing amongst themselves.
“She’s relentless,” Pope said, shaking his head in disbelief. “JJ looks like he’s babysitting.”
“Hey, at least she’s not crying,” Sarah chimed in, smirking. “That’s progress.”
“She’s definitely about to though,” Kiara added, watching as you flung yourself dramatically against JJ’s chest, shouting something about him being “the worst boyfriend ever” for withholding kisses.
“Alright, that’s it,” JJ declared, bending down and effortlessly scooping you into his arms bridal-style, just like in the picture. “I’m cutting you off. You’re done.”
You gasped, throwing your head back in faux outrage as your legs dangled over his arms. “You’re kidnapping me! Someone stop him!”
“No one’s stopping me, sweetheart,” JJ said with a laugh. “You’re out of control.”
The group burst into laughter, John B pulling out his phone to record the whole scene.
“JJ, this is gold,” John B said between laughs. “I can’t wait to show her this tomorrow.”
“Don’t you dare!” you shouted, suddenly animated, though your words were slurred. “John B Routledge, I swear, if you—JJ, make him stop!”
JJ rolled his eyes, adjusting his grip on you. “You think I can do everything, huh? I’m already carrying your drunk ass.”
“Because you love me,” you replied with a smug grin, poking his cheek.
“Yeah, yeah,” JJ muttered, though his smile betrayed him.
When you finally made it back to the house, JJ gently set you down on the couch. You flopped over dramatically, your arm draped over your face.
“You’re going to hate yourself in the morning,” he said, handing you a bottle of water.
“I’m going to hate you in the morning,” you quipped, though your smile said otherwise.
JJ rolled his eyes, plopping down beside you. “Fine. One kiss. Just one.”
You immediately perked up, your face lighting up as you crawled onto his lap and kissed him. It was a bit clumsy and overly enthusiastic, but JJ couldn’t help but laugh into it, pulling you closer.
“Okay, okay, that’s enough,” he said, pulling back before you could start again. “We’re in front of the Pogues, for crying out loud.”
Sure enough, Sarah, Kiara, and the rest of the group were standing in the doorway, watching with grins and smug expressions.
“Aw, JJ,” Sarah teased. “You’re such a softie.”
“Shut it, Sarah,” JJ shot back, his cheeks red.
“I think it’s cute,” Kiara said, nudging Pope.
Pope smirked. “You mean hilarious.”
You, however, were too busy giggling in JJ’s arms to care. And despite the teasing and chaos around him, JJ couldn’t help but smile. Because at the end of the day, you were his chaos—and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

You groaned as sunlight streamed through the window, making you squint against the bright rays. Your head pounded, and your mouth felt like it had been stuffed with cotton.
“What the hell…” you muttered, shielding your eyes as you slowly sat up.
From the doorway, JJ leaned casually against the frame, arms crossed and a smug grin plastered on his face.
“Good morning, sunshine,” he said, his tone entirely too cheerful.
You glared at him. “Why are you so loud?”
“Not my fault you had a little too much fun last night,” he teased, walking over and plopping down on the bed beside you.
You groaned, dropping back against the pillows. “Don’t remind me.”
“Oh, I’m definitely reminding you. Do you want to hear about how you demanded ‘one more kiss’ like, a hundred times? Or how you tried to fight John B because he wouldn’t stop filming you?”
Your eyes shot open, and you turned to him with horror. “I did not.”
“Oh, you did,” JJ said with a laugh. “And you called me, and I quote, ‘the worst boyfriend ever’ because I wouldn’t kiss you in the middle of the party.”
You covered your face with your hands, groaning. “I’m never drinking again.”
JJ leaned down, brushing his lips against your temple. “Don’t worry. I think it was adorable. Drunk you is my favorite.”
You peeked at him through your fingers. “You’re never going to let me live this down, are you?”
“Not a chance,” he said with a grin. “But don’t worry, princess. I’m here to take care of you.”
Despite your embarrassment, you couldn’t help but smile at him. Because at the end of the day, JJ always had your back—whether you were sober or not.
summary: A playful tease turns into an argument, forcing Peter to confront how much he truly cares about you. The chaos of Avengers Tower ensures nothing stays private for long.
It wasn’t supposed to turn into an argument.
One minute, you were teasing Peter about bailing on yet another movie night, and the next, you were snapping at him from your spot on the couch in the lounge of Avengers Tower.
“Are you kidding me right now, Peter?” You crossed your arms, glaring at him as he stood awkwardly in front of you. “You’ve bailed, like, six times this month. Six! What—do you just not care about seeing me anymore?”
Peter groaned, dragging a hand through his messy brown hair. “It’s not like that! I told you—stuff just comes up sometimes!”
You rolled your eyes. “Stuff, huh? Like what?”
Peter froze, clearly realizing his mistake. You already knew he was Spider-Man—being Tony Stark’s daughter meant there wasn’t much that got past you. But that didn’t mean you were going to make this easy on him.
“Let me guess,” you said sarcastically, tilting your head. “You tripped and fell into saving a bunch of people, right?”
Peter’s cheeks flushed, his eyes darting around like he was searching for an escape. “Well… I mean… Technically, yeah?”
You scoffed, standing up and brushing past him. “You’re impossible.”
Peter caught your wrist gently, spinning you back toward him. “(Y/N), come on,” he said softly. “You know it’s not like that. You know I care about you. A lot.”
Your glare softened slightly, but you weren’t letting him off the hook yet. “Then stop bailing on me. I don’t care if you’re Spider-Man. If you want to keep seeing me, you have to show up, Peter.”
Peter swallowed hard, his brown eyes locking onto yours. “I do want to keep seeing you. I’m crazy about you. And if I could explain it all without sounding like an idiot, I would.”
You narrowed your eyes at him. “You are an idiot.”
“Yeah,” he breathed, stepping closer, his voice dropping a little. “But I’m your idiot.”
You wanted to stay mad. You really did. But when Peter Parker gave you that soft, boyish smile, all your frustration melted just a little.
“Don’t think you can just charm your way out of this,” you muttered, though you made no move to pull away when he stepped even closer.
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” Peter murmured, his hands settling lightly on your waist as his forehead touched yours.
“Peter…” you whispered, your voice losing its edge.
“Hmm?”
“I’m still mad at you.”
“Yeah?” His breath brushed your lips as he smiled. “Doesn’t seem like it.”
You opened your mouth to retort, but Peter cut you off by kissing you. It was soft at first—gentle and hesitant, as if he was afraid you might shove him away. But when you kissed him back, threading your fingers into his hair, he deepened the kiss, pulling you flush against him.
His hands slid to your lower back as he pressed you against the nearby wall, his lips moving with yours like he’d been waiting for this moment forever.
You sighed into the kiss, your earlier anger completely forgotten as your heart raced in your chest. Peter’s lips trailed to your jaw, brushing over your skin as you tilted your head to give him better access.
“Still mad?” he mumbled between kisses, his voice low and teasing.
“Maybe,” you breathed, though the way your hands clung to his shoulders said otherwise.
Peter grinned, leaning back to look at you. “Liar.”
You were about to pull him in for another kiss when—
“Hey!”
Both of you froze. Peter practically jumped back from you like he’d been electrocuted, and you turned your head to see none other than your dad—Tony Stark—standing in the doorway with a look of pure exasperation on his face.
“Oh, come on!” Tony groaned, throwing his hands in the air. “In my tower? Against my wall? Have you two ever heard of personal space?”
“Mr. Stark—uh—I can explain!” Peter stammered, his face a shade of red you didn’t think was humanly possible.
“Explain what?” Tony deadpanned. “That you’ve got your sticky Spider-fingers all over my daughter?”
“DAD!” you snapped, your own face burning as you shoved Peter toward the other side of the room.
Tony raised an eyebrow, clearly enjoying this far too much. “Relax, kid. Just don’t let me catch you swapping spit in mylounge again. And definitely not when the rest of the team is—”
“Oh my God.”
You groaned as Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff appeared behind Tony, both looking far too amused by the situation.
Natasha smirked, leaning casually against the wall. “Don’t let us interrupt. Looks like you two were having a moment.”
Peter groaned softly, covering his face with his hands. “Please kill me now.”
Steve chuckled, clapping Tony on the shoulder. “Come on, Stark. Give the kids a break.”
“Fine, fine,” Tony muttered, but not before shooting Peter a warning look. “Spider-Boy, you keep your hands where I can see them from now on. Got it?”
“Y-Yes, sir!” Peter stammered, practically vibrating with embarrassment.
Tony turned and left the room, muttering something about “unbelievable teenagers” as Steve and Natasha followed, both still grinning.
As soon as they were gone, Peter turned to you, wide-eyed and mortified. “I’m never coming back here again.”
You laughed, stepping closer and brushing your fingers along his jaw. “Oh, come on. That wasn’t that bad.”
Peter gaped at you. “Not that bad?! Your dad just caught us—”
You cut him off with a kiss, soft and slow, until you felt him relax against you. When you pulled back, you smirked. “Still want to bail on our movie nights?”
Peter smiled sheepishly, resting his forehead against yours. “Never again. I swear.”
“Good,” you whispered, tugging him down for another kiss.
And this time, you made sure to lock the door.
