I just want to take a moment and talk about one person in Infinity War - James Buchanan ‘Bucky’ Barnes - and not the Winter Soldier.

Marvel again killed that sunshine off. 

When I was watching Infinity War, weeping for the 2nd time I suddenly realized that Bucky’s metal arm turned to dust with him.

Suddenly a thought came to my mind. WHY?

I realized that Bucky was free. He was free of the Winter Soldier tag that was coming along with him. The arm wasn’t a sign of HYDRA now, it had become a part of him. He had made amends with himself and he was finally happy and free. And when finally he was free, he was killed.

I am not crying, you are.

STEVEN RUSSELL WAS A FUCKING GENIUS. 

Originally arrested for Insurance Fraud, he met the love of his life Phillip Morris in prison

He got out before Phillip, so he proceeded to GET PHILLIP OUT OF PRISON

He wanted to give Phillip a glamourous life, so he got a big-name job, and then started embezzling funds

he was arrested and then broke out TWICE MORE and kept busting out

then he was arrested again, and the above happened

while he was on the run from this, he was determined to get Phillip (who was in trouble for harboring him) out of prison so he pretended to be a lawyer and hit up Phillip’s jail 24/7. He tried to get Phillip moved to a prison closer to where he was hiding so he couLD VISIT HIM

AND THEN he made a fake identity and tried to get a 75k loan, and was arrested AGAIN, but he FAKED A HEART ATTACK AND LEFT BEFORE HE WAS EVEN PLACED IN PRISON AGAIN

Also: Natasha can “calm” the Hulk just as easily as she can provoke him, effectively giving her complete control over Bruce’s transformations. Which is something not even Bruce can do a good deal of the time. She only allows him to be angry when it benefits her, effectively making him bottle up his anger when it isn’t convenient. Considering that Bruce’s anger issues most definitely stems from being an abuse survivor, this power imbalance becomes even more unhealthy and manipulative.

Thor, however, actually sits down and talks to the Hulk and lets him express how he’s feeling, even trying to recruit him when most others would only consider talking to Bruce. He stops the Hulk when he goes too far or tries to keep him contained when he could threaten their safety, but generally he treats him with respect.

In Natasha’s eyes, Hulk is a monster that has to be controlled, like her. In Thor’s eyes, Hulk is a powerful, yet brash man, like him.
