On May 15th (JST), Wakana Yamazaki's agency announced that she had passed away on April 18, 2026.

We apologize for how sudden this is, but the Book Club will be taking a break this week in a little moment of silence.

We'll pick up with Week 42's reading and Case Notes next week.
