a collection of things i have been working on!

the first dragon and the wizards are part of a series. I'm making a bunch of little one of a kind figures to make blind boxes with. the blind boxes will include a hand drawn sticker of the character in the box as well as a zine with pictures/drawings of all the characters in the series. I'm hoping to sell them at the next craft fair or rave I vend at. The wizards will have staffs, I just need to make the staffs. I plan on making 2 more wizards, 1 more dragon, and 2 unicorns. if this series sells well I'll probably make another one because im having a lot of fun with it! I thought it would be funny to make blind boxes because i kind of also hate blind boxes? Its gambling in disguise, often targeting children which is especially gross. BUT I think its cool to take something so muddied by capitalism and give it a soul, and also my target audience is not children lol. when I post this to my Instagram/reveal them IRL I hope my other artist friends start making blind boxes too. I can do anything a corporation can and im going to do it cuter and with more love in my heart.

i hope anyone who buys my blind boxes opens them in front of me because i want to know who gets what!

the pikachu dragon was my prototype to figure out how big I wanted to sculpt the silver dragon. I'm gonna keep pikadragon.

the wishbone necklace I made just because i was itching to make a necklace with some new beads I got. i will probably sell it because it doesnt fit my personal style, but its really tempting because its so pretty. its nice to branch out and try different styles. i think if I were to vend at a less queer or alt focused market that necklaces like this would probably do well.

this messed up vintage cat sewing pattern has tormented me since i saw it & like some other folks have done in that post - i tried my hand at tweaking the pattern to resemble the illustration (and my personal tastes) a little more. i've ended up with this. i bestow it upon you nice folks now 👐

I couldn't find the caramelldansen base in this post, but here is a version that should work just as well.

How to make them into a GIF:

Step 1. Edit the base however you like (I used MSPaint)

Step 2: Crop and save each frame individually as PNGs (Note for the lick base: It's best to crop them to include the black boarder. This makes the GIF 50x50, which is the standard DeviantArt icon size and can easily scale larger if need be.)

Step 3: Go to ezgif.com/maker and upload all your frames

Step 4: Set "delay time" to 10, then click "Make a GIF!"

Step 5: Right-click the result and save it. Congrats! You used a GIF base!
