Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.

so im trying to get better about being public with my art. ive been doing it off and on since junior year of college because all my art teachers since elementary school told me i wasnt good enough at it...so i usually dont let people see my stuff cuz i s till think it isnt good. PSA: i do use some tools (not Ai, just the freehand tool path) to help fix my lines because i have an essential tremor (its not parkinsons, my hands just shake cuz body weird) also my hands don't shake on mouse and keyboard so i do most of the art using a mouse and then do touch ups/details with the pen for all the lin thickness stuff. Anyway enough about me. I need help... mostly finding resource stuff. i think this pose makes sense but i cant find a decent resource for poses that arnt...boring or rather i chose a really complicated stripper pole move I saw once and can't find a look alike. (idk why i did this to myself, all my other poses i think are normal enough/i can get a copyright free version for reference of easy...this one is taking me on a journey. plz send what you use artists so i can maybe make this pick for red turn out okay. ill be posting the whole collection and individual pieces. idk about time lapses/streaming yet...one still nervous about my art also it takes me awhile... going from my freeform to the near character took me like 4 hours and you do not want to know how long the stick fig version took...so embarrassing. plz help a noobie out. thanks from Ravn/Lumen

Update on this because I just had time to post my comment, and when you initially look at the docket, some of the information you might see on there is a touch misleading! For one, when you look at the document comment buttons at the top, it says there are 61 comments. All the comments that I clicked through there are in support of petition. BUT (and here's the important thing) the comments that have been posted for public view is NOT the same number as the comments that have actually been recieved. If you look to the side of the page, you might notice this:

If you click the more details button, you'll see a small section that reads "In some instances, agencies do not publicly post all comments received. You can only access those comments that are posted to Regulations.gov by the agencies. The number of accessible comments, therefore, may be lower than the total number of comments listed in the card below." This basically means that, out of the 6,897 comments that have been recieved, the agency has only decided to post 61 of them. The latest post of those 61 dates back to Febuary 27th. Clearly, that leaves 6,836 comments unaccounted for, and not posted. (Likely, because the 6,836 not posted are in opposition to this petition.) Now, if you go to comment like I did today, you might notice this:

This is a lie! The comment period is still accepting late comments, but what you have to do is click the Docket Document tab, which will bring you to two documents. The acknowledgement letter is closed for comments. THE CITIZEN PETITION IS STILL ACCEPTING LATE COMMENTS.

when I speak to my professor about how my parents would kick me out if I choose a English major and how my biggest fears are losing my writing because to me, that means losing myself. He simple says "I don't think you will lose it. you have too much passion for it. I can tell" He tells me that I could start writing a narrative based piece - a creative narrative writing - based on the love that I have for writing. He told me that love and writing are one and the same - either you quit or die trying - you will rejected over and over again but one day - some day - something will be different. I was scared (still am to be honest) that no one would want to read it. No one would understand how much reading and writing fanfction or brown girl books make me feel seen. No one would care about a girl who says to herself, that there are no scars on my skin because my writing is proof enough that I went through it.

Ok, mother of GOD that's a lot of responses and I am but one man with Excel. I'll update these ASAP but also some rules:

A Pokemon only counts for itself, not its evolution line.

A Pokemon with multiple forms (like Zygarde) will only be counted for the specified form. A Pokemon with multiple appearances (like Spinda, Vivillon, Sylvally, etc.) count for all their appearances.

I'm literally doing this as a testament to my own depression that not everyone is lovable, so add that to the weight of this post's meaning.
