My favorite thing about robot fandoms is we always try to make the robots warm and cozy in fanfics and give them warm beverages even tho theyre computers and would definitely run and operate better if they were somewhere cold and dry. Like they don’t need a blankie, that will cover their fans and make them overheat, they’d need a dehumidifier and the AC on blast and to be as far away from mugs of stuff that could spill on them as possible, but it’s so cute how humans look at robots, skinless and hairless, and go “they look so cold! 😭” and then proceed to write in blankies and hot chocolate in their fanfics for them

Solar ain't a cinnamon roll. He's just a man who has his proprieties straight. The highest on his list is making sure Jack has a safe place to call home.

But trust on one thing. Once Solar and Eclipse are officially proclaim a couple. Eclipse will be surprised on how high Solar's libido is.

Funfact: It took Solar 2 weeks staying at Eclipse's House to realize he actually had romantic feelings for Eclipse. Bro, just chose to never act on it cause he doesn't want to ruin a good thing they have going on.

Eclipse, however, took several months to realize he also had romantic feelings towards Solar. But Eclipse refuse to acknowledge his emotions and tries to continue life like nothing happened.

Both are idiots.

Angst

Just know the Solar Eclipse Union does have lore. A lot of lore. It focuses on family dynamics and the past traumatic events that effect all the characters.

Eclipse in this case is very much alone during this time. Many things happened. The pizzaplex animatronics don't trust him anymore, the mimic possession thing did happened and left scares, William Afton guy did caused serious damage to him and the kids. Eclipse lost a lot of friends and allies.

His only remaining allies were his two friends, Foxy and Puppet. However, one died and the other just simply vanished.

Eclipse was left all alone.

But there are 5 kids that are relying on him. All these kids have no where else to go. No one is looking for them. No one would even want them due to their current condition.

Even thou Eclipse is very overwhelmed, he still steps up to the plate to help them. To at least provide a place they could call home. It is in his base code to be a daycare attendant, to care for children, even if he prefers to not think about his origins. In this case, he is aware this decision will be for a long term.

So ye, Eclipse has his hands full and has basically zero support.

So when Earth ask Eclipse if Solar and Jack could stay at his house for a while, he agreed. Even thou Eclipse never really liked the guy, Solar wasn't the absolute worst person to be around his kids. Plus, he could make Solar pay rent by doing free labor around the house and at the pizzaplex to reduce the work load for him.

Another reason why Eclipse agreed to let them move in is because of Jack's situation. Eclipse agrees that Jack should not be anywhere near the Celestial Household for a while.

Sadly, Eclipse can relate to Jack's situation.

Jack's abduction from the Creator still happened in this AU. It left very deep scars.

Jack develop more frequent outburst and night terrors. He is not okay.

Solar and Moon had growing tension between the two. Moon was becoming someone Solar recognized. His old Moon. Solar still has nightmares about his Moon.

After a couple more arguments and incidences. Solar had enough.

Solar is willing to handle the hostility, the stress, and the potential death threats. But he is not willing to let Jack endure it too.

Yes, all of Eclipse V2's creation tend to have sharp teeth/fangs. Even when most of them been recreated, they still follow the blueprint of having fangs.

Expect for Solarflare

Eclipse V2 simple didn't have enough supplies to make a mouth for him.

Eclipse V4 legitimately does not know why V2 did this. Eclipse may have most of V2's memories but not all of it.

But Solar later on does come up with a theory on why.

The Carmoon dynamic when I'm NOT drawing them soft and happy, is actually:

Carmine saying out loud, "Please, let me fix you, Moon. Aren't you tired of making yourself so miserable...?" And Moon, thinking in silence, Let me break you, Carme, even a little. Don't you get tired of being so polite?

And also they share code with one another so Moon can keep his memories, which is basically the robot equivalent of a marriage of convenience, and the relationship is at least a little toxic going both ways, y'know

i’m not completely sure how the “tying” together would work out. if that means losing carmine or not in the process of saving moon. but either way this has no straight explanation 🔥

Nah just kidding, I just really wanted to thank you all for the love.

I'm really bad at words, taking compliments, or generally interacting (if the way I answer asks are of any example). I'm usually way too tired to answer things by the time i'm done drawing all the comics/art and posting them on all socials.

First of all thank you for understanding my latest change of schedule and for the support.

Second thank you a lot for all your comments, especially the ones hiding in reblog tags (i see you) they make my day and give me energy to do things

Third thank you for all the fics I'm seeing popping out inspired by my comics! I want to do a cleaner, organized job once i'm back home and list them in a possible masterpost so you can read them for yourself as well, they deserve the love. I'll still keep drawing my comic version of them obviously.

Fourth thank you for your patience when it comes to linking stuff or typos. I usually finish my drawings at like 1am and i don't have the time to revise things so most times there will be a grammatical error here and there.
