A collection of my interests, from Star Wars Rebels to Wandavision to Encanto to Disney Zombies to Transformers: Rescue Bots. My other loves include the Ice Age franchise, Ever After High, Disney Descendants, and many others.
If I had a nickel for every time I got into a tv show set in an extraordinary coastal town in Maine where a sunny and persistent child brings a unique cast of characters together to save the day with their love for him, most of the main characters are family (by blood or by choice), there's at least two family tree reveal plot twists, at least one main character is a member of the local law enforcement, there's a character named Graham who at one point is connected to something howling and furry, at least one pirate ship is significant to a portion of the plot, there are multiple adventures in the forest, the child everyone loves ends up in an alternate universe and meets alternative versions of their family and has to work together with some of them to set things right as a season finale, a season finale involves time travel, the town has a mine, and they have a musical episode in the second to last season, where everyone initially reacts with confusion but then roll with it, that is the episode before a heart-wrenching two-part season finale. And there's a significant time jump between the second-to-last season and the last season where few of the characters noticeably age and the character we really notice it with is the child that connects everybody else.
I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
Other comparisons between OUAT and TF:RB I have thought of since making this post:
A be-spectacled old woman with a big personality runs the local bed and breakfast and sasses almost everyone.
The main characters frequently go to an eccentric man, with shoulder-length hair whose last name is a color and starts with G, for answers to problems in town, some of which are his fault. He also has a child, that he raised as a single father, who is connected with the blond and/or child main character.
A woman is trapped for 28 years and after she is freed she eventually marries the previously mentioned eccentric man and they have a child together. Said child causes problems for the main heroes in multiple episodes.
There is one iconic pet in town that doesn't belong to any of the main characters but all of the main characters know him.
The child character gets trapped on an uncivilized island and has adventures while his family tries to rescue him.
The mayor of the town is not the best mayor, but things tend to go off the rails even more than normal when someone else is the mayor.
The town has a clock tower that doesn't work for a long period of time and it is significant when it starts working again.
The library is an important location in multiple episodes, though not always with its intended purpose in mind.
The town has a fantastical secret that everyone has to work to keep from the outside world.
No one in town is particularly fond of the local reporter.
There are multiple episodes where the main characters have to deal with a winged beast.

I've found that two trios of siblings from two of my favorite shows have a surprising amount in common.
Note that I'm also including stuff from the EAH books and other supplementary materials
Comparisons under the cut
Daring and Kade

Acts like they don't care about things when they really do.
Tries to give their younger brother advice about girls that doesn't work very well, but genuinely wants to help.
Dexter and Graham
Younger brother
Square glasses

My favorite of the siblings.
Darling and Dani
Only girl
Athletic
Tomboyish tendencies
Likes flying
Bit of a daredevil
Wants to be a hero
Beware the temper
Wants to be seen as being just as capable as their brothers.
Siblings as a Whole
Have a well know family history that goes back very far.
Family legacy of being heroes.
Two boys and one girl sibling trio.
Trio of siblings that are very very close in age.
Each sibling in the trio has a different hair color, and they're different enough to question the genetics that made it possible.
Differences
Dexter and Darling are twins, with Dexter being older. Meanwhile, Graham and Dani aren't twins and Dani is older. (I headcanon them as Irish Twins but that's beside the point)
The Charming siblings have both of their parents while we only know about the Burns siblings' single father.
The Burnses have a younger brother, Cody, while the Charmings don't have any other siblings.
The Charmings are actual royalty in their universe while the Burnses were considered royalty for barely an episode and Dani didn't even know about it.
King and Queen Charming force their children into perfect molds that they all don't fit into and obviously favor Daring. Charlie Burns openly supports his kids in their different interests, lets them make their own decisions, and doesn't favor any of his older children above the others.
Charlie is just a much better parent than the Charmings.

I guess I’ll tag: @c-rose2081 , @scribblermerlin , and @jerseyk112
As requested by @jerseyk112 here’s the full summary of this au from my AU Ideas post.
First a quick review of the background:
In this world, some people are just born with magical gifts (or because one or both of their parents have gifts). Not everyone accepts this magic and some families reject children with gifts.
Also, Encanto is just a normal (if isolated) town that is very accepting of magic. Pedro doesn’t die young and he has a gift. Julieta, Pepa and Bruno are born with their gifts. Pedro’s gift is the ability to enchant objects by putting in a little of one’s soul. He made bracelets for the triplets so they can always find each other and Casita was his dying gift (it’s where his soul resides).
Story:
Isabela’s parents kick her out because she has the power to control plants and she is forced to live on the streets, moving from town to town and selling flowers to survive. A few years later, she finds Luisa, who was kicked out of her orphanage because of her super strength and they agree to be sisters surviving together. A couple years after that, they find an orphaned Mirabel and make her their sister as well.
Dolores’s parents die and the relatives she goes to afterwards abandon her (she believes it has something to do with her super hearing). She lives on the streets and moves around a little, savaging and pickpocketing to survive. After a few years, she finds Camilo, who was abandoned because of his shapeshifting, and they become brother and sister. A couple years later, they find a baby boy named Antonio who was abandoned because animals kept crowding around him (they later figure out that he can talk to animals) and make him their brother.
A few months later, the two trios of siblings meet and decide to become a family. They settle in an abandoned boxcar or old building (I haven’t decided yet) in a clearing outside a city and take care of each other. Dolores takes care of the little ones while Isabela sells flowers and Luisa does odd jobs around the city disguised as a boy to earn money.
Meanwhile, in the small town of Encanto, the Madrigals are unhappy. Both Julieta and her husband Agustin and Pepa and her husband Felix long for children, yet all they get are miscarriages and stillbirths despite the best efforts of Julieta’s gift. After Pepa has her second stillbirth and Julieta has her third within a few months of each other, Bruno decides to have a vision to see if his sisters will have children and sees them each with three children but he can’t see any births or pregnancies.
A few years later, after Pedro’s death and Pepa’s third stillbirth happen in the same year, the Madrigals decide to take a trip to the nearby city for a month to take their minds off things. Within the first week, Julieta and Agustin meet Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel, when Agustin saves Mirabel from getting run over, and Pepa and Felix meet Dolores, Camilo, and Antonio, when Camilo uses his shapeshifting to cheer Pepa up when she’s thundering and separated from Felix. Upon seeing the children, Bruno immediately recognizes them as his sisters’ children from his vision, but decides not to say anything yet. Eventually, the Madrigals learn about the children’s situation and try to help them, and they slowly gain the children’s trust and affection.
Then less than a week before the Madrigals are set to return to Encanto, Luisa bangs on their door in the middle of the night because all of the children are sick. The Madrigals nurse them back to health and in the process the children decide they want to be part of the family. Julieta and Agustin adopt Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel while Pepa and Felix adopt Dolores, Camilo, and Antonio. They take the children home to Encanto and give them the best lives possible. And Bruno’s vision comes true.
Here’s a collection of AUs that have been rolling around in my brain (some for over six months) that I wanted to write down so I don’t forget them before I get around to writing the actual fanfics. I welcome anyone who wants to know more about or has questions about any of these; I’d love to answer them. Maybe getting some interest for these will encourage me to write them sooner.
These are only the ones I felt comfortable sharing.
Fandoms range from Marvel to Encanto to the Disney Zombies Trilogy
Marvel/Encanto Crossovers:
Starks Don’t Shine They Burn (Iron Fam Encanto AU)
I’m just gonna link to my post and not bother with much of a summary.
Basically Encanto except it’s the Iron Fam.
2. Marvel/Encanto Crossover (One Meeting Version)
Notes: In this AU, time passes differently inside the Encanto, so while about 50 years have passed inside the Encanto, over a hundred years have passed outside it.
This also takes place about two years after the events of Encanto. Mariano and Dolores are married and Dolores is pregnant.
Months before the Civil War, an Avengers’ mission in Colombia goes south and Vision is the only one uninjured. They are stranded in the middle of the Colombian wilderness about a mile away from the Encanto. One of Antonio’s animals tells him about them and the Madrigals go to help. After getting over their shock they take the Avengers in and heal them. Vision spends time with the Madrigals while his friends recover and bonds with all of them. After the team fully recovers, they spend some time with the family and Bruno gives Steve a vision of how to find Bucky so he finds him sooner.
Civil War happens slightly differently since Bucky is safe and the existence of a super-powered family in the Colombian wilderness makes everyone pause over the Accords.
Basically: Vision is the Madrigals’ weird but polite houseguest for a couple days while Steve, Natasha, Sam, and Wanda are unconscious in the back room.
An offshoot of the previous AU where Bruno has a vision of Thanos while the Avengers are still there. This leads to the Avengers secretly training the Madrigals outside government knowledge. Steve still finds Bucky early with Bruno’s help. Lagos happens differently and the Madrigals input on the Accords debate leads to a compromise with some revised Accords.
In this version, Thanos is defeated before he can snap thanks to the Madrigals’ help.
Encanto Ideas:
Broken Hearts Made Whole ( aka Encanto Boxcar Children AU)
Background:
In this world, some people are just born with magical gifts (or because one or both of their parents have gifts). Not everyone accepts this magic and some families reject children with gifts.
Also, Encanto is just a normal (if isolated) town that is very accepting of magic. Pedro doesn’t die young and he has a gift. Julieta, Pepa and Bruno are born with their gifts. Pedro’s gift is the ability to enchant objects by putting in a little of one’s soul. He made bracelets for the triplets so they can always find each other and Casita was his dying gift (it’s where his soul resides).
Short Summary:
Isabela, Dolores, Luisa, Camilo, Mirabel, and Antonio have all been rejected by their families and caretakers, but have found family in each other. They survive on their own while living in a city. Meanwhile, the Madrigals are tragically childless and take a trip to the city where the children live. The two groups of six meet. Things are strained at first, but eventually the Madrigals gain the children’s trust. So much so that when the children need help they go to the Madrigals and this eventually leads to them being adopted.
2. Encanto Circus Captives AU
A year or so after the events of the movie, the Madrigal Grandkids are kidnapped by an evil circus owner from outside the Encanto. They are all forced into working for the circus. Luisa, Isabela, Antonio, and Camilo have acts related to their gifts while Dolores has to gather information she hears for the circus owner and Mirabel works on the costumes. They are abused for months to a year before Abuela, Tio Bruno, and their parents manage to find them.
3. Encanto Fairytale AUs
Different Madrigal Characters in fairytales because fairytales are my jam.
The only idea I have so far is Luisa in a Cinderella AU because it’s the first one that come to me and I think Cinderella fits perfectly for Luisa. I want to get fairytales for the rest of the family eventually.
My plan for the CinderLuisa AU story wise is a combination of the Disney movies and multiple versions of the original fairytale.
Highlights include: Isabela and Mirabel as her Fairy Godsisters and cameos of Bruno as the rat-turned-coachman and Camilo as the lizard-turned-footman.
Encanto/Zombies Crossover
Takes place maybe a year after Encanto and during the summer after everyone’s first semester of college (In the ZOMBIES Universe). For convenience, the Miracle Candle was restored with the house’s magic in this story (I’ll explain later/at some point). All canon Encanto couples are in effect, as are: Zed/Addison, Bonzo/Bree, Wyatt/Eliza, and Willa/A-spen from ZOMBIES.
Through unexplained circumstances, Casita lands in the middle of the Forbidden Forest with all the Madrigals plus Mariano inside. Naturally, our Seabrook gang, plus some others, go to investigate. Upon realizing that the Madrigals (and Mariano) aren’t a threat and are just as confused as they are, they welcome them to Seabrook and introduce them to modern technology and monsters. Seabrook accepts the Madrigals’ gifts and their Miracle and, after a period of adjustment, the Madrigals accept the monsters of Seabrook. Eventually they figure out how to get the Madrigals home.
Disney Zombies Ideas:
Zombies Pirate AU
A historical-based AU where the Zombies are pirates. Zed is the Captain, Eliza is the First Mate, and Bonzo is the Quartermaster/Second Mate. Addison is a princess or of some other noble birth and Bree is her lady-in-waiting (and friend).
So what happens is that Addison and Bree are captured by a different pirate crew to be held for ransom. They’ve been on their ship for a few weeks when the Zombies attack the other pirate ship and find Addison and Bree. They take the girls aboard and intend to bring them home. Unfortunately, shenanigans happen that delay their return. During their extended stay, Zed and Addison fall in love, as do Bonzo and Bree. I’m thinking that eventually a Navy force led by Bucky finds the Zombie pirate ship, captures the Zombies, and takes them all back to Addison’s parents’ kingdom.
I can’t decide whether Addison and Bree jailbreak the Zombies and run off with them, Addison pleads with her parents at their castle to pardon the Zombies, or Addison convinces her parents to pardon them after she’s run off with the Zombies.
2. Zombies Reunited Childhood Sweethearts AU
AU where Zombietown is just the poorer section of Seabrook and everyone’s human. Addison’s mom is still the mayor and her dad is the chief of police.
When they’re around eight or nine, Addison and Bree are dropped off in Zombietown by a couple of teenage bullies and befriend Zed, Eliza, and Bonzo before Addison’s dad finds them. Addison and Bree come back to Zombietown to play with Zed, Eliza, and Bonzo as often as they can. When they’re all around ten, Zed and Addison become “boyfriend and girlfriend” and so do Bonzo and Bree. (Since they’re ten it’s not much more than holding hands and extra hugs)
By the time the kids are eleven, Addison’s parents decide they don’t want their daughter to have friends in the poor part of town and ban her from going to Zombietown and later convince Bree’s parents to do the same.
About fifteen years later, Addison and Zed reunite as adults and so do Bree and Bonzo. Then the whole gang gets back together and Zed & Addison and Bonzo & Bree both start dating for real.
If you can’t tell Zed/Addison and Bonzo/Bree are my two favorite ZOMBIES ships
Here’s a bunch of stuff from the Starks Don’t Shine They Burn universe that didn’t fit in the original post.
(Yes, I know it’s been awhile, hush)
It’s pretty long.
This AU has a much more ambiguous setting, since I could not justify having this set in Colombia with the amount of white people in this AU and didn’t know what other real life location would make any sense.
Like in the movie, the house in this AU is still called Casita and their sheltered town is still called the Encanto.
The mountains surrounding the Encanto are rich in metal ores. (Because it’s the Iron Fam and Tony needs a good supply of materials)
The birth order of the triplets is: Tony, Stephen, Carol. Mostly because I can’t picture Stephen as the youngest of the three and what I’ve seen of Carol has younger sibling energy.
James “Rhodey” Rhodes starts as Tony’s best friend. He becomes friends with all the triplets before he and Carol fall in love and get married. He and Tony are still best friends though.
One of the reasons he’s nicknamed Rhodey is because Howard and Maria got emotional when they learned that their son befriended someone named James (Like James “Bucky” Barnes).
Wanda Maximoff lives in the town and is Vision’s longtime best friend. They’re also pining for each other, but since Vision’s so busy using his gift to help the town they don’t have time to confess their feelings for each other.
Pietro and their parents are also alive and living in the Encanto.
They own a bakery or something like that.
There’s not really a Mariano character in this AU (like how Isabela was expected to marry him while Dolores was in love with him). Mostly because I forgot about him when choosing characters for this AU (Sorry Mariano, I do care about you). There also aren’t really any MCU characters that both Nebula and Monica know besides Carol Danvers, who’s their mom in this AU. I also didn’t think a Dolores style romantic arc works well with Monica’s character. I’ll probably have to figure out a suitor for Nebula so the dinner scene has a possibility of working.
Suggestions welcome.
The Dolores Confession verse in “All of You” is replaced with a Wanda confession verse in this AU.
Other residents of the Encanto include:
The Maximoffs (as mentioned before)
Oleg, Iryna, Pietro (20) and Wanda (20)
The Bartons
Clint, Laura, Cooper (15), Lila (13), and Nathaniel (5)
Bruce Banner (The Town Doctor)
Helen Cho (The retired/former town doctor)
Natasha Romanoff
(Peter’s friend) Michelle Jones (16) and her parents
(Peter’s friend) Ned Leeds (16), his parents, and his grandmother
Elderly Peggy Carter and her husband, son, daughter, and presumably grandchildren.
Her brother Micheal Carter, his wife, son, and grandchildren, including Sharon Carter (26)
Peter Quill (Early thirties)
Gamora (Late twenties)
Drax and his wife and young daughter
Mantis (Early twenties)
Darcy Lewis (20)
Jimmy Woo (21)
Harold “Happy” Hogan
Sam Wilson (Mid-twenties)
Assorted others
Not any Asgardians though, since they technically have their own magic it wouldn’t make sense for them to be here.
For those of you wondering what the in-universe reason is for a character being named “Vision” when a different character has actual visions of the future, my explanation is that one day when Pepper was like seven months pregnant with him (and Carol was like three months pregnant with Monica), Stephen has a vision about the birth of Tony and Pepper’s baby, which involves a midnight thunderstorm and a c-section, and inorder for both Pepper and the baby to survive Tony has to make a medical instrument that will limit the danger of a c-section. After the baby is born safely, Tony and Pepper (mostly Tony) name him Vision to honor the vision that saved him.
The other kids also have interesting births that (except Morgan) Stephen saw in a vision.
Nebula was born during a meteor shower with Aurora Borealis.
Monica came into the world with a rainbow.
Peter was born during a windstorm violent enough to fling the windows open in the birthing room.
Harley was born during a solar eclipse.
Morgan was born at sunrise to the rooster crowing, all the birds, chirping, and other animals making their morning noises.
I feel like Monica’s gift should be explained more. My main inspiration is this part of her Marvel Wiki article. The basics are that she can see different energies and across the electromagnetic spectrum, including a form of x-ray vision. Her eyes glow different colors based on what kind of sight she’s using/what she’s looking for.
Nebula still has a prosthetic arm in this au. The story is that a beast of some sort bit it off, when she was exploring the woods when she was around ten (age is subject to change), and chewed it to pieces. She manages to kill the beast with her gift, though doesn’t save her arm. Her Uncle Tony makes her a metal prosthetic arm that she sometimes uses her gift to manipulate into different forms.
Other possibilities to come, this is all I have for now. Will update when I have more.
I have some ideas of how some of the songs can be rewritten for this au, although if anyone has any ideas for lyrics feel welcome to share them. I may post the rewritten songs at some point.
I also used a dress-up game to give some idea of what the family looks like/how everyone's dressed that I may post if anyone’s interested.
Well, well, if it’s not your emotional support family…you belong in the ‘Ghost family’ that’s made up of a rogue Jedi (tired dad) Kanan Jarrus, his padawan (blueberry son) Ezra Bridger, his friend (cat) Zeb, their other friend (chaotic art daughter) Sabine Wren, a murderbot Chopper and the leader of the group (mom) Hera Syndulla. These guys are always ready to wreck havoc and blow some shit up…and I know that you love them for it.
I got the mantis crew!! I've never played the game and I was kinda hoping for the ghost crew but this is pretty cool too!
Mantis Family
Ok, ok, look at that…another emotional support family. The ‘Mantis family’. It’s members are a former Jedi padawan Cal Kestis (who loves ponchos), a former Jedi Knight Cere (who’s a hacker), an amazing pilot Greeze (who has 4 hands), a nightsister-survivor Merrin (who’s a witch), the cutest droid BD-1 (who is a young naturalist) and a former inquisitor Trilla (who’s cute and definitely NOT dead). Another rebel cell, another found family full of bitches who need therapy and have cool superpowers.
thanks for the tag! @midnight-raven @tinysbandanadad @heckin-music-dork

Not really sure who to tag, feel free to try quiz out
This was not what I was expecting. I haven’t even watched much of the Clone Wars. I was hoping for the Ghost Crew. I’m kind of insulted that I’m associated with chaos and disaster. But also... Obi-Wan. I don’t know how to feel about this.
I don’t know who to tag so anyone who wants to play along is welcome to join.
Okay I wasn’t tagged, but I follow @twinwanderer892 and thought this looked fun! BTW I failed the quiz because this is nothing like me.
Tagging but no pressure: @tiny-badbatcher, @kanerallels, @laughingphoenixleader, @accidental-spice, @sidesofmayo, @thirteenmyspacegirl, @unstableskywalker, @ladywren7, and anyone else who wants to play!
Although when I think about it, I can see where the quiz is coming from.
I don’t know who to tag who isn’t already in this thread, so if you follow me and want to play go right ahead or if you just see this and want to play.
Tagging: (No pressure!) @chaoticdumbassrogue @midnight-raven @kanerallels @thirteenmyspacegirl @laughingphoenixleader and anyone else who'd like to play!
Okay, I’ve been thinking about this for over a week and finally had some brain space to write it out.
Apologies for the disorganized thoughts.
Not entirely sure how angsty this is but here we go:
After receiving the Miracle and just as Casita is made, Alma funnels her grief through the candle to bring Pedro back, although his body is entirely created with the candle’s magic.
Then she uses the candle to make everyone else in the Encanto forget that Pedro died and turns the Encanto into her “perfect” life. Where it seems like everyone is happy.
Everyone may seem happy and perfect, but it’s a thin façade and they’re all hiding inner turmoil.
She technically didn’t chose everyone’s gifts. She just gives an idea of what she wants each child to be and let’s the Miracle chose specific gifts.
Pepa and Felix and Julietta and Agustin’s relationships are real though. At that time, Alma just wanted happy marriages and was willing to let her daughters choose.
(I made this decision mostly because I couldn’t bear to have either of these relationships be manipulated via mind-control)
But the candle doesn’t like what Alma has done. This wasn’t what the Miracle was for. So it starts protesting.
They start with Mirabel’s Gift Ceremony.
Mirabel actually does get a gift (although she doesn’t realize it), but she still doesn’t get a door, in an effort to get through to Alma.
Mirabel gets the ability to wake people up from Alma’s control (like Vision is able to do after getting that one email). She doesn’t really use is for a while because she isn’t aware of everything her Abuela is doing.
It’s how she gets Luisa and Isabela to admit how they really feel during the scenes around their songs.
Bruno wakes up during his vision of Mirabel with Casita breaking and hides in the walls to protect her and to hide from what his mother is doing (although he doesn’t really tell Mirabel that second part).
The house cracking is both a display of the family’s secret struggles and that the Miracle is unwilling to continue Abuela’s delusion much longer.
When the Miracle dies, Casita falls, the mountain cracks open, and Abuelo Pedro fades away, forcing Abuela to finally confront her grief.
Abuela reconciles with the family, possibly with the town as well, although I haven’t decided yet.
The miracle comes back when the house is rebuilt, and so do the gifts, but Pedro doesn’t because it’s time for Alma to move on and focus on the family she has, who now don’t have to conform to her “perfect” expectations.
Many years ago, Howard and Maria Stark were given a miracle thanks to the sacrifice of their best friends Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers. A magical candle that blessed their family with a magical house and protection from the dangers they escaped.
Their triplet children were each given a magical gift; their daughter Carol was given light and heat manipulation, their son Stephen could see the future, and their son Tony could make tools, weapons and armor with magical properties.
With their magical abilities, the Stark Family protected their home and served their community.
Eventually, Carol and Tony both married and were blessed with children.
Carol and her husband, Rhodey, had two daughters; Nebula (22) and Monica (19). Tony and his wife, Pepper, had four kids; Vision (19), Peter (16), Harley (15), and Morgan (5).
When each grandchild turned five years old, they were given their own gifts:
Nebula could shape and manipulate metal. Vision had the ability to alter his density and the density of whatever he held. Monica had the gift of Spectral Vision. Peter possessed powers resembling those of a spider, like being able to stick to any surface and having a quicker reaction time.
Everyone got a gift… except Harley. Much to the confusion of his family. A confusion that only increased when Stephen mysteriously disappeared not long after his failed gift ceremony.
Harley was left on the sidelines as his older brothers and cousins used their many gifts to protect and serve their town with their parents.
But when the house shows signs of cracks after his little sister’s gift ceremony, Harley might be the only one who can find out what’s wrong. And save the magic.
I was so hype when I saw I got tagged on this one, thanks, teacup!

He leaned his chin down on top of Dooku’s hair, wishing he had the power to keep him from growing up too fast.
Oh boy no pressure at all, just tagging some people who are great writers if you’re interested: @jetiisse , @markiafc , @anatolysergievsky , @jedi-valjean , -- and anyone else who wants to!

She’d flown the Ghost into battle once again, this time fighting alongside her son, who flew the Spirit, a sleek starfighter that he’d designed himself.
No pressure tags: @ladywren7 @beehacked @eleni-syndulla @okadiah
Hey!! Let's get it! Thanks for the tag @laughingphoenixleader !!
I probably won't end up posting this one because I started it just to practice writing, but I thought it would be cool to share it anyways! And it's currently the only one I actively have in progress because I'm posting my current batch over Kanera week and Whumptober, so once I start working on some wips again and starting new ones I'll have new content for you all<3
The crew jumped behind cargo crates for cover as the air was soon full of blaster fire.
Tagging @rebelquilts512 (hey!) And @midnight-raven (I'm shamelessly eager as heck to know!)(But no pressure at all I'm just being silly)
I haven’t gotten much fanfic writing gone lately so this is an older wip that I added to for the purpose of this post. We’ll see how long it takes for me to come back to this/
I was tagged by @the-blind-assassin-12 - Thank you for the tag!
Rules: Tag 9 people (or any) that you would like to catch up with :)
Last Song: “August” by Intelligency. It was the last song playing as I pulled into work, so now it will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day.
Last Movie: I literally watch and listen to almost nothing new these days, so naturally my last movie was 500 Days of Summer just the other night. Sometimes I need the feels.
Currently Watching: Rewatching Mad Men for the 109839028 time (see above). This show is probably my strongest long-term obsession and I’m always ready to talk about it. Always. I’m also keeping up with Bad Batch and Good Girls (so I guess I watching some new things).
Currently Reading: Thrawn. I’ve never read any of the Thrawn books (new or old), so I’m trying to start. I really like it, I’m just terrible at choosing reading over playing the Sims so I’ve renewed it like twice now. But it really is so good!
Here are tags that are less like obligations and more like general acknowledgement of my favorite blogs <3 : @bythevay @ten-thousand-crows @findswoman @marveledtardis @hostilelove @madisonwasmurdered @pretchatta @ilovestarwarsandkpop
Last Movie: I don’t really watch movies bc I never really have the time to anymore, but The Mitchells vs. The Machines
Currently Watching: Re-Watching SW Rebels and watching The Bad Batch
Currently Reading: A New Dawn by John Jackson Miller, so please, no spoilers! And literal everything Webtrinsic1122 is putting out😂
Idk why but I’m getting tags lately but needless to say I love them!😅 (No pressure tags and same these are some of my fave blogs along with some mutuals <3) @webtrinsic1122 @colorfulnickellandgarden @charlie-frikin-bradbury @latinaherasyndulla @awkwardswrscreencaps @rebelquilts512
I haven’t been tagged for this type of post before so I might as well.
Last Song: Tightrope from The Greatest Showman (While making this post)
Last Movie: I think it was Ice Age: Continental Drift
Currently Watching: I’m technically in the middle of a Star Wars Rebels rewatch, but I haven’t watched an episode in a while.
Currently Reading: I started The Silent Songbird by Melanie Dickerson, but most of what I’ve been reading lately is Wanda Maximoff/Vision (I think Scarletvision is the ship name) fanfiction, because I watched Wandavision and thought they were adorable. (Even though I haven’t watched any of the movies they’ve appeared in all the way through.)
Since I haven’t done this before I don’t know who all to tag, but...
@midnight-raven, @starwarsrebelsincorrectquotes, and @pomrania feel the least awkward to tag, but no pressure.
Star Wars Barbie AU Collection: Lift My Eyes and See the Sky
Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus AU
On her birthday, Princess Leia sneaks out to ice skate without her overprotective parents permission and runs into an orphaned polar bear cub, who she names Wicket. When she returns home, her parents, King Anakin and Queen Padme, upset that she snuck out and that she brought home a polar bear, ban her from skating, and she storms off in a huff.
That night, Leia sneaks out, with Wicket, to a festival in the village, where out of nowhere Palpatine, a powerful sorcerer, appears wanting her to be his apprentice. When she refuses, he turns her parents, and everyone in the kingdom to stone. Leia is rescued by a pegasus named Luke, and Palpatine gives her three days to decide or the spell will be permanent.
Luke takes her to the Cloud Kingdom, ruled by King Obi-wan. There Leia learns that Luke is in fact her brother, who Palpatine turned into a pegasus after their parents refused to let him be Palpatine’s apprentice.
Obi-wan tells Leia that the only way to defeat Palpatine is to build a Wand of Light; from a measure of courage, a ring of love, and a gem of ice lit by hope's eternal flame. Despite Luke’s reluctance, Leia is sure they can do it.
Leia, Luke, and Wicket the polar bear head to the Forbidden Forest, where they meet Han, a blacksmith wanting to fix a mistake who agrees to help them, and his horse Chewbacca.
After a run in with a horrible giant named Jabba, Leia, Luke, Han, and Wicket are on track to build a Wand on Light and defeat Palpatine. As long as he doesn’t decide to interfere with their plans.
