theres something to say about jason's willingness to believe the penguin has changed for good in batman (1940) annual 11 despite bruce's doubts but i cant put it into words

#too many people characterize him as hating all criminals and thinking they should die #but like all the cases when he got extreme as robin were either related to criminals who victimized women #or when two-face killed his father #even then he forgave two face #i think thats such a fascinating part of jason's character thats been underexplored since he came back to life #that he generally is a kind forgiving and optimistic person when it comes to criminals #but he has a massive blindspot when it comes to criminals that specifically victimize women #garzonas being a rapist and the slasher murders targeting women #like why is that?#and how does that translate to his activities as red hood #criminally underexplored part of jason's lore imo #jason todd #batman annual 11
