respectfully, women have been competing and succeeding in all forms of motorsport for decades. michele mouton is an incredibly respected rally driver, and numerous drivers, including champions like mouton or seb loeb, drove and won with a female co-driver. jutta kleinschmitdt won dakar in the top class, one of the hardest races in the world, back when it was still held in africa, and in the last five years five or six women have gone on to win stages and entire categories in the case of cristina gutierrez. klara andersson has won multiple racing awards for her skill in rallycross, and drivers like sabine schmitz or the iron dames, including dorianne pin and marta garcia, have been proving women's skill in endurance racing for decades. there have been five women to actively compete in f1 over it's 76 year history, with desiré wilson winning a non championship race, and lella lombardi scoring championship points.

women have been in motorsport in all categories, and at all levels for as long as it has existed. let's stop pretending we can't demand better from series like f1a
