hello im riz! main blog: @rizblogs
(credit to @cheesuschristman for this banner!!)
i blog on pwhl hockey, figure skating, wnba and will start blogging nsl soon!
new to sportsblr? here is a basic run down of hockey, figure skating, basketball and soccer. i also really recommend checking out league specific rules (ie. pwhl handbook, isu manual) to really see what rules the atheletes are held up to. underappreciated resources are the wikipedia of these respective sports if you have a very specfic inquiry. most importantly though whether you know the rules or not, whether you have favorite atheletes/teams or whether you understand the game or not imo its just important to watch a game (ideally in person if financially and geographically possible). i followed ava wood's recommendation into how to get into following sports (well pwhl here but i think its applies to most sports) for the completely uninitated and its a good place to start if you want some structure. also fans here are rarely ever unwilling to help new fans. always feel free to ask questions in the tags!
tune in for the scheduled games! pwhl 25/26, isu figure skating 26/27, wnba 26/27 and nsl 26 (these links allow for options to sync with your calender btw!!)
