rvb s6-8 get a lot of hype and it is because they are cinematic masterpieces

s1-5 are also good but theyre good in the watching someone figure out a medium sort of way. theyre charming. Im fond of them. but s8 is also just unbeatable in terms of quality and writing

9/10 are both good but i find the pacing in the pfl parts messy. the modern day scenes are both great and i love 9's ending, i dont think ive ever seen it and not cried like a baby. caroliiiiiina

11-13 are necessary as book ends for the main characters of the show and finishing the reds and blues stories. 11 is my second least favorite season behind s3 because they both suffer from bloat and generally just... not being as funny as they could be (not that they don't have their moments but both kinda overshoot their runtime by like 30 minutes). 12/13 are both good seasons if a little miss on the comedy aspect, but i find them still relatively enjoyable and 13's ending is a perfect end of the series, those two seasons get a worse rep because people will quit watching at 11 and think the following two seasons are worse. not the case. id die for the s13 ending i genuinely love it so much its such a perfect end to the reds and blues

s14 is a grab bag some episodes are good (musical episode, the lego one) and some are bad (lolix ft some random guy's heist 3 parter or whatever)

15 onward decanonized and i dont like them because they are genuinely just very not funny and lose their sense of humor. i don't mind more serious writing with less humor going on (i like chorus!) but 15 onward lose out on figuring out how to keep the balance of everything lighthearted enough with snappy comedy while still having stakes in the story

the finale movie was not good but i liked things in it but overall just not that good. it just was not very good .
