Evan always has this dopey smile on his face that he has zero control over whenever he bags groceries for Barty. He forgets to talk to the customer, absolutely enamored in the way Barty handles his customer service, and making Evan flustered in the worse way possible.
Evan will come back inside from rounding up carts, noticeably sweaty and overheated. his baby hairs sticking to his forehead. And looking absolutely exhausted. He'll beeline for Barty's register, tossing his water bottle and leaning dramatically against the cigarette case just above. He'll use his shirt to wipe his face.
And in true Barty fashion he absolutely has to make a comment.
"Looking a little hot there Rosie." he winks, adding a second meaning to his comment.
Evan can't help the smile that comes to his face. "Around you? I'm always hot." Barty snorts and rolls his eyes. A small smile on his face.
A balled up receipt is tossed at Evan's head, and his head snaps to the side to James making a gagging noise from the register next to him.
"On company time? Really?" his nose is wrinkled in mock disgust.
"Especially on company time- and you wonder why the employee restroom door is always locked." Barty sends a wink to Evan as he says that. James gags once more, waving his hands about to pretend that Barty didn't just admit to getting down and dirty in the bathroom.
The tip of Evan's ears grew hot. Looking off to the side. They've never done such a thing. It's always locked because 9/10 someone is hitting their vape inside.
"Shut up Bee..." he rolls his eyes, biting his lip at even the thought of doing such a thing. To be paid for it? Well... Barty just laughs at his face turning to the customer as if that entire interaction hadn't happened.
