The Faculty of IT, Maranatha
As you guys can see, it’s been a long time since I posted here. Well, I can only apologize about that. The truth is, college have been started. And it’s a new era for me. But, enough of that. I’m here to tell you about IT in Maranatha, my college. First of all, Maranathat Christian University or MCU for short, is one of the most well known university in Bandung. The next thing that you need to know is, the IT faculty will never let you graduate if you didn’t join and finish the Study Orientation and Faculty Introduction (Indonesian calls it OSJUR). Yes, crazy, I know. But, I was suppose to talk about the IT faculty, not badmouthing it, so... uhh... Okay, let’s start over.
Do any of you know about IT? You know? Ok, then i guess my work here is done *slapped. Okay, IT or Informatica and Technologic is a major where you learn about, drum roll please, programming. There are a lot of programming you learn in IT. There’s gamming, web design, and much more.
My goal here is to become a game prgrammer and maybe one day i could join ATLUS. Create amazing games such as the SMT series, or the new booming game in Japan, Kantai Collection and Touken Ranbu. Well, I’ll do my best to reach my goal. Please, wish me luck.
The Code of Conduct of IT Lab of MCU
Just like any other places, the IT lab have code of conduct of their own. I will list them here.
While around the lab hall;
DO NOT: Smoke, litter anywhere, being noisy, gambling in any way possible(nor impossible. the point is, DO NOT gamble), breaking stuff or doodling on any of the facility (such as, tables, chairs, monitors, walls, and more), do any activity that violate ethics, morale, or any law stand, and, wear sandals or any of it’s variation.
OBLIGATORY: Shows any form of identity, follows the IT lab’s code of conduct, aand keep the IT lab clean.
DO NOT: Eat or drink, create or spread a computer virus(altho it is so tempting), hack into the security system, installed any program into the lab’s computer, play any kind of games, browse or search anything that has the element of pornography(but they don’t tell us anything about the elements of violence or drugs, but i think don’t browse about that, just in case)
