The younger kids at camp definitely believe that Nico di Angelo is a god.

This is heavily inspired by @yonemurishiroku , I'm obsessed with their Nico content!

Think about it. He's got an aura of power, he's terrifying in a fight and just look at him. He's been on so many quests and talks about the 1930s yet he looks only 16, he must be immortal. And he interacts so casually with Hestia, Apollo and Dionysus, how could be not be a god?

But then they ask him about it and what they get is a very confused Nico. "You thought I was a what?" and that's how Nico found out that half of camp believes that he's a god. And lost his goddamn mind.

Nico’s POV of the first two HoO books is actually hilarious when you think about it. He’s just been chilling with the Romans. He’s hanging out with his long-lost sister he didn’t know existed until like three months prior in a camp full of demigods that generally tolerate his presence for once. Suddenly, oops, Jason’s disappeared. That’s weird. Nico gets a ring from CHB, Percy’s disappeared too. Surely these events can’t be related in any way. Nico helps look for Percy and- wuh-oh, Jason’s turned up at CHB. That can only mean one thing. Couple months later, Nico goes to visit Hazel, and lo and behold Percy is standing right there. Legally, Nico cannot tell anyone about any of this. He then proceeds to swan-dive directly into Superhell.
