this gif is like... almost biblical. as if hes experiencing a pharaohs curse...
I hope op doesnt mind but I want to talk about the video this gif is from because it's way more than this guy just coughing out both cinnamon and his lungs. First of all, this video is from 2014. This was a cinnamon challenge, but not the cinnamon challenge. No, this was a test of strength with the power of sheer stupidity, curiosity, and Miracle Berries.
This guy is the LA Beast (skippy62able on youtube). He does crazy stupid shit and this video which is titled "Science Experiment Involving Cinnamon And Fire Goes Terribly Wrong" is a great example. It's worth noting he's semi(?)-allergic to cinnamon and used to have horrible allergic reactions as a kid. This is sure to go well.
First, he takes a few Miracle Berries because it will "help him consume the cinnamon foods pain-free." He doesn't do this to "cure" his allergy, he wants to see if Miracle Berries can mask the burning sensation cinnamon gives him (spoilers: they can not). He foolishly believes the berries will save him.
He takes a handful of cinnamon flavored jelly beans which unsurprisingly starts to make his tongue burn. This is where the coughing begins.
He takes a handful of cinnamon Altoids (or as he calls them "mints on steroids"). The back of his mouth is burning and his face starts to flush. It just goes downhill from here.
He takes an Atomic Fireball and a handful of Hot Tamales at the same time. After a few seconds of pain he says "apparently I have a serious allergic reaction to cinnamon" and starts to question if the Miracle Berries actually make spicy things not spicy (they do not).
He pauses for a moment to say he feels like his head is being held over a burning fire but despite his body and God himself telling him to stop, he doesn't.
He takes six (6) Big Red gum strips. He mentions twice before that he had extreme allergic reactions specifically to those as a kid. Now his whole mouth feels like it's on fire. He spits out the wad of gum and sits in pain for a while.
He dumps a mouthfull of straight up cinnamon powder into his burning mouth. He lasts 19 seconds trying to keep it in but inevitably spits it out which is the moment of the gif above. Cinnamon powder fogs the room a bit, his face is flushed as fuck, and he's coughing and sputtering.
Immediately after the cinnamon storm from hell comes out of his mouth, in obvious pain, he takes two (2) gulps of Cinna Burst and promptly spits it out. Cinnamon powder and Cinna Burst stains the carpet of his apartment bedroom.
That finishes the consumables part of the challenge. He says that in conclusion Miracle Berries do jack shit if you're allergic to cinnamon. I've watched some of his videos over the years and he's a pretty smart and clever dude when he's not doing stupid shit but this must be the dumbest thing I've heard him say.
It is already very bad and concerning, but it gets worse. He makes a homemade fireball (aka a cotton ball on fire) that he is going to hold in his hand to show the audience that "things that are hot are not really hot." This man is a different breed, possibly not human.
He lights the cotton ball in his hand, confidently says "it's not so bad" before he quickly starts panicking and tossing it between his hands. He manages to get out a sarcastic, joking comment about proving to the audience that fire isn't hot, meanwhile he's in obvious pain. He drops it on the carpet, exclaims "oh shit, it's on the carpet, dude!", then throws it in a bowl of water.
He lights another one in his hand. He fucking lights another one. This time he seems more calm, or as calm as you can be while holding something on fire. "I can do this all day." He can not. He manages to hold the cotton ball between his hands for 32 seconds before dropping it again and stopping there.
After fucking up his mouth, throat, and hands, he parts with "at the end of the day, things that are supposed to be hot are probably hot. Have a good day!..... I think I burned my hands." This dude is still alive and kicking. Godspeed.
