Ok, we're officially launching the casting call for phase 1 of It Takes a Wolf, an upcoming fantasy noir audiodrama from @scottpaladin (via The Library of Cursed Knowledge).

This call is for the first two episodes which will be produced prior to crowdfunding in early 2026. We're looking for a variety of voices and, to boast a little, all these characters slap.

This is a paid project.

Auditions will be accepted until midnight Oct 3. Details in the link.

We've got just about a week left on the casting call, so I think it's high time we did some character spotlights! Let's start with

Bex, the Accomplice

An ideal accomplice is many things: quick, tight lipped, subtle, and above all exceedingly loyal. Bex had the first three in spades but the last... well... She had all the loyalty of a falling knife.

Bex is a goblin, a petty thief, and generally a little shit. Which is why we love her.

The Accomplice speaks in a creole called Orlekra (literally "our language") by native speakers and "gobbo" by everyone else. Orlekra and english are inter-intelligible, when the phases of the moon line up. You can find more info on pronunciation here: breakaleg.library.horse/orlekra-guide/
