Ok but movie Michael Afton is so funny to me bc game Michael would absolutely DISPISE HIM. Movie Michael immediately folds the moment the toys are dismantled. He's so pathetic and wouldn't last 5 minutes with his game counter part.
Michael "continued his father's legacy for 5 mins" Afton vs. Michael "has set his father on fire on multiple occasions" Afton.
Who do you think would win?
I think in a physical confrontation, I'd be mostly equal if Game!Michael is holding back. They'd both at least come out of it with matching black eyes and a few bite marks. If Game!Michael wasn't, considering one of my headcanons for him, Movie!Michael would likely be the one getting his bones crushed.
two paths
saw someone semi-livetweet their reactions to the fnaf 2 movie novelization and you’ll never BELIEVE what i noticed
I've never seen anyone point out that Michael/Mike's namesake (likely) the Archangel Michael is the angel of death, the one who wields the sword of justice, and who lead armies against satan to banish him to hell... I'm DEFINITELY not seeing any fnaf correlation here ... /sarcasm
I think my personal favorite take on the Michael name meaning is the literal meaning of his name, which is "Who is like god?" with the answer being rhetorical, either "There is none like God." or "There is none as famous or powerful as God."
Looking at "God" in the context of FNaF as referring to William, I personally see each answer referring to how Game and Movie Michael see their father/themselves respectively, with the first answer being Game Michael asserting himself as not being his father, while the second answer is Movie Michael worshiping his father, seeing him as all powerful and in control along with seeing himself as nothing but an extention of him.
(The second answer can also fit Game Michael pre-SL, but I mainly wanted to focus on both the Game and Movie continuities for this.)

I like to imagine that after seeing the season finale of The Immortal and the Restless, Mike went on a Youtube-style rant about how bad it was and made a whole rewrite of it out of frustration.

Just like your mother
Reblogging cuz this is literally my headcanon for BV.
the two sexiest flaws characters can have are:
being stuck in the past, never being able to let go and never accepting the present because you will always be there, even if 'there' is gone and will never come back. change upending their life in such a way that they refuse to acknowledge anything changed at all. trying to go back to a place and time and to people that aren't there anymore because nothing else matters. you're in a perpetual groundhog day while the universe tries to drag you forward kicking and screaming. if you prevent change you can prevent loss surely. if all the people you love are in the past how can you not live there as well etc. etc.
forever running away from the past. if you constantly seek change and your life becomes mired in impermanence then you can leave it all behind right. at what point does changing become some kind of murder. if you make loss a constant part of your life then loss will eventually stop hurting. it has to. of course you got over it. it happened so long ago it's not even important. change your name change your mind and leave it all behind. your true flaw is how easily you let go of things. you think if you run fast enough you can outrun the past. you can't. all of their stories are about being left and all of yours are about leaving, so you should have known etc.

I think Couch co-op as I think its easier to coordinate when you're in the same room with the other player.
Goofy Fnaf Headcanon 6
All of the Afton children have a British accent due to William drilling it into them, alongside an American accent due to living in Utah.
When normally speaking, Michael speaks with his American accent, while whenever he's stressed or speaking with his father, he slips back into his British accent as a form of self-preservation.
Elizabeth rarely slipped out of her British accent before her death, knowing how happy it made her father.
I like you, have a cupcake! (but seriously I like a lot of ur fnaf takes they r p baller)
Thanks for the cupcake! And thank you for the compliment.
TBH, I kinda see FNaF's story, specifically 1-UCN, as more of an 'up to your own interpretation' thing, mainly due to how little we know about so many of the characters.
For example, there are like 3 different theories on Michael Afton's morality. MikeHero, MikeNeutral, and MikeVillian. At first, I thought MikeVillian was a bit silly, but after reading about it I could see how one would come to that conclusion, considering Michael only has one speech and a logbook giving out little fun facts about his interests, so it makes sense that there would be drastically different takes on his morality.
There's also multiple different theories on who TOYSNHK is, and any of them could be true due to there not being a lot about the character. Even if you assume its someone like the Golden Freddy spirit, you'd have to add a bunch of headcanons to make it more satisfying.
So yeah, that's kinda why I see FNaF as being more 'up to interpretation' thing.
You'll Forget Me/For The Last Time meme
I drew this for my sister cuz of one of her headcanons about a character from the second movie.

Well...Remnant possesses regenerative properties, which is why Mike wears a mask. His face resembles his father’s far too closely, and showing it could draw unwanted attention.
Some internal components from the Funtime animatronics remained inside Mike, particularly parts originating from Funtime Foxy. Because of the built-in voice mimicry module, he can alter his voice at will, which helps him secure jobs and conceal his true identity
I love the idea of Mike being able to mimic voices thanks to the Funtimes leftover parts inside him. It reminds me of a headcanon I have that after Mike healed he's able to make his eyes black with white pupils thanks to getting scooped. He uses it a lot during his job at Fazbear Frights to fit into the attraction better during its opening hours. And during his confrontation with William/Springtrap.
