Current AU: Don’t have any. Althouuggh…..a (rough) idea I have for IDW Sonic is that post-urban warfare arc, Lanolin is recruiting for the Neo Diamond Cutters, with Gadget the Wolf being recruited due to being at restoration HQ by chance. Gadget then forces (pun intended) himself tone down his full combat capabilities, as not to attract too much attention (Gadget thought being open about his capabilities to start with would do the opposite). However, that’s easier said than done, especially with his past a step behind him.
AU Notes:
- Inspiration taken from the Ace Combat fanfic The Ultimate Ace by WingedFreedom662 (as in a highly experienced combat vet that doesn’t want attention is stuck with rookies)
- Timewise, takes place post Urban Warfare arc all the way to the Clean Sweepstakes arc
- Lanolin will have a crashout moment. Girlfailures are gonna girlfail
- The only shipping that’s accepted (subject to change?) are platonic ships. (Also WhisperxTangle pls don’t dox me)
-on a minor note, there are some writing decisions that I’d personally want to adjust.

There is a possibility of Fan dying which I have just realised. Yes, Bow was responsible for the "Shimmer" noises, but think about it. Fan's hearing noises? What did the others hear before they died?
Plus think of the angst potential. Lightbulb convinced her friends it was okay to leave the mansion; that they'd be safe and they couldn't possibly be hurt, right? No way Lightbulb could be wrong!
Fan and Paintbrush return, Fan's body in hand with the news that Toilet also died, possibly years ago, and none of the contestants were aware of it at all.
How fucked up would that be.
