hey. after grace dies. he's buried in a combination of human and eridian traditions. a beautiful carved monument to who he is and what he represents to the planet and people of erid. and they have a permanent sort of honor guard there. somebody always there to watch him sleep.

and generations later, when erid is thriving again and even rocky and adrian are long gone, buried or memorialized right alongside grace, classes of little eridian children come and watch the changing of the watch. feel connected to the history of their planet because they, too, are watching grace and rocky sleep. the saviors of erid will never sleep alone again.

"Grace refuses to add the swears to the vocabulary" WRONG! Rocky refuses to add the swears to the vocabulary. Grace (book!Grace, at least) is in his thirties. It's like a four-year-old baby by the Eridian standards. Rocky is not teaching the baby the swears, it would be so irresponsible!!

Also, it's so funny to think about how this conversation went. I'm not sure what mental image I love more: a) Rocky stopping in the middle of the rant to explain what he is saying so that Grace can add it to the dictionary or b) Rocky interrogating Grace on the Earth insults beforehand so that he can go on his rant uninterrupted. In any case — oh, to be a fly on that wall. I love them.

Aaron and Kevin start sharing a dorm when Andrew and Neil become absolutely unbearable.

Aaron still has nightmares about Drake, and one night when he was tipsy, he crawled into bed with Kevin after waking up from one.

Kevin (did not notice) tucked Aaron under his arm like a body pillow.

It was the best nights sleep either of them had.

After being weird about it for a couple weeks, it happened again.

And again.

And again.

Until one day Aaron crawled into Kevin's bed when he was sober and Kevin was awake. They held eachother all night long.

People have this image of non binary people in their mind as quirky cis or binary trans people who have "spicy pronouns" instead of a legitimate categorisation of gender, and it pisses me off.

They don't even think medical transition for non binary people even exist. And that pisses me off even more.
