Summary: Kuroo dosen't take no for an asnwer , and you end up learning how to play volley .

You didn’t even know how you ended up with Kuroo and Kenma in the school gym, trying to play volleyball (p.s. password: try).

The thing is that your area isn't volleyball, so when Kuroo invited you to play, even after you told him that you didn’t know how to play, he kept insisting, saying that he would teach you. So in the end, after a day of him following you around the school like a puppy that just lost his mama, you accepted (p.s. how could you say no? Me? No!).

But here you are, learning how to serve for the 9th time today. At this point, Kenma, who was setting the ball for you, passed this job to your goofy boyfriend, who had a strong motivation, while you were already tired but determined by your boyfriend's contagious happiness (p.s. I can feel it from here!).

And it continued like that for 2 hours until you hit it well, letting out a happy scream.

— Yeah! Finally! — you said, smiling at your boyfriend, who was already giving you that Cheshire cat smile. And just that point was enough for Kuroo to let you guys go home.

The sunset painted your skin like it was a canvas while you walked through the streets of Nerima on the way home, with Kuroo's arms around you, meanwhile Kenma played on his Nintendo, completely ignoring you two, until you got home, where he gave you a kiss on the lips, making Kenma frown in total disgust and indignation, like someone whose presence had been completely forgotten.

●Leon is a guy that likes to spend quality time with his partner, and since he doesn't have a lot of breaks because of the missions, he would probably prefer to stay at home. Meanwhile, you guys watch a romance, action, or horror movie. (p.s. he would let you choose, since he is a gentleman ;))

●You both would be lying on the couch with a warm blanket while you cuddle (p.s. this man needs a cuddle), then eating popcorn and some Chinese food. Wearing his favorite t-shirt, which makes him give that combo of look and smile that made you say yes to him.

●That casual look of yours would make him look at you like you had hung the stars in the sky, or like you were the human form of the sun, the whole night.

●Leon would love something intimate and casual, as long as it is with the person he loves (p.s. you, obviously ☺️).

●And in the end, he would probably end up sleeping in your lap or on your shoulder, because he gets very tired from missions (p.s. even when he insists on saying that he is fine 😮‍💨). And at some point, you would fall asleep as well.

●Like Leon, Chris likes to spend quality time with his partner, but with all his work with the BSAA, which makes him not be home frequently and not spend enough time with you, he would probably try to plan something fancy for you as a form of compensation.

●Making you wear some fancy clothes, leaving him speechless at your beauty, almost making him reconsider leaving the house.(p.s.😏)

●His arms would always be around you or touching you (p.s. this man’s arms 🫣) as a way of showing everyone that the beauty with him has already been claimed by him.

●So he would probably take you to a fancy restaurant, with good food, music, and atmosphere (p.s. so lovely :)), enjoying the good company of the person he loves.

chapter forty — she’s rewiring my mind(written)

Manon slammed her dorm door behind her, the echo bouncing off the walls like a cruel reminder of her own chaos. Her ears were ringing, head pounding, and her chest felt like it was being squeezed by invisible hands.

She pressed a hand to her temple, trying to make sense of the jumble of feelings roiling inside her. Eyes stung, but she wouldn’t, couldn’t, let herself cry. Not for anyone, not for Y/N.

Her breathing was uneven, ragged, as she stumbled toward her desk, dumping her backpack onto the floor without a thought. Everything about the day felt wrong.

Why did she feel like her chest was about to explode just from thinking about Y/N? The conversation in the bathroom replayed over and over, each loop twisting tighter in her stomach. She hadn’t said anything cruel, or had she? No, she hadn’t. So why did it feel like she had?

“Hey… what’s wrong?” Lara’s voice cut through her spiraling thoughts. She looked up, startled, seeing her friend standing there, wide-eyed and frozen for a moment before realizing something was off.

Manon blinked, struggling to form words. “Nothing,” she muttered sharply, though the sharpness sounded more like an edge against herself than Lara.

Lara didn’t move, didn’t buy it. “Manon… you’re freaking out. Talk to me.”

Manon’s jaw tightened. “I—I don’t know what’s wrong,” she admitted, voice low and rough, almost to herself. “I can’t… I can’t stop thinking about her, okay? Y/N. And it’s driving me insane, and I hate it, but I can’t… I just…” She trailed off, clenching her fists until her knuckles were white.

Lara stepped closer, cautious, her hand resting lightly on Manon’s arm. “Manon… you’re letting yourself feel. That’s not a bad thing. Maybe… maybe it’s not just anger at her?”

Manon’s chest tightened, a mixture of frustration and something she couldn’t name, guilt? longing? It was twisting in her stomach. She shook her head, almost violently. “No. I… I can’t. I can’t let myself feel this.”

“You already are,” Lara said softly. “Better to face it than let it eat you from the inside.”

Manon swallowed, throat tight. “I—ugh… I hate how much she gets under my skin.” Her voice cracked slightly, and she clenched her jaw again. “I hate that I care. I hate that she makes me feel like this. I hate that I like her.”

Lara froze. “…Wait. You… like her?”

Manon’s laugh was short, humorless, bitter. “I didn’t say that.”

“Yes, you did,” Lara said, leaning against the desk, calm but firm. “You just can’t admit it. Not even to yourself.”

Manon’s eyes stung harder now, and she pressed a hand to them, trying to shove back tears that were clawing at her control. “I’m not… I’m not saying anything,” she muttered, voice trembling despite herself.

“You don’t have to say it out loud,” Lara said gently. “But you’re letting it hurt you. That’s the part you need to deal with.”

Manon exhaled sharply, collapsing into her chair. “God… I can’t even look at her without… ugh,” she groaned, running her hands through her hair. “I’m such an idiot.”

“You’re not an idiot,” Lara said. “You just… care. More than you’d like to admit.”

Manon’s fingers dug into the arms of her chair, her heart still hammering. “I… I can’t stop thinking about her,” she whispered, almost too quietly to hear herself. “And it’s killing me.”

Lara gave her a small, understanding nod. “Then maybe that’s the part you need to face first. Not yelling at her. Not pretending you hate her. Just… facing it.”

Manon’s head dropped into her hands, and for the first time, she let herself feel the sting of it all, the frustration, the confusion, the undeniable pull toward someone she shouldn’t care for. And yet… deep down, she knew she couldn’t stop.

I thought as I sat at the club bar drinking coke.

I looked at my friend dancing with a guy on the dance floor when out of nowhere a guy appeared in front of me with two cocktail glasses in front of me, obviously offering me the second glass. I was about to get up to avoid him when he positioned himself in front of me blocking my way.

"Hello precious thing"

Said the stranger clearly drunk

"Sorry but you are blocking my passage"

"And you're invading my personal space"

"Look here sweetheart, you can play hard to get but I'm the right man for y-"

He said before being pulled away by a woman clearly looking at me like she wanted to kill me. I took advantage of the fact that she started arguing with him and went out onto the dance floor taking advantage to escape the confusion.

I mingled with the crowd, dancing a little uncomfortably, since it wasn't my style of music.

Until I saw the DJ being replaced by a charming guy in dress pants and a black shirt with most of the buttons open showing his chest and with a mullet.

(He is so hot, definitely my type)

I thought as I was staring at him until someone bumped into me, taking me out of my trance. That's when I noticed the crowd got louder and that I was now in the middle of a circle of people with everyone looking at me waiting for me to start dancing.

Not wanting to embarrass myself any further, I started following the rhythm of the music.

Dancing more comfortably and confidently when I noticed the his eyes on me. People started cheering more, the dance floor started to vibrate.

Noticing he surprised himself at seeing me dance so well, I started dancing closer to the stage on purpose until the song ended in style, receiving a lot of applause.

I shake my butt playfully as I lowered myself to the floor and smiled, feeling much more confident now.

Then without even realizing it my friend pulls me into a corner.

"Girl what was that, you were amazing!!!!"

"Yess!!Thanks girl."

"And it looks like you caught someone's attention"

She said, signaling to something behind me. I turn around seeing the DJ or rather the guy called Lando that my friend showed me the photo earlier.

"Hi" he said with a smile that could make my heart melt completely.

"Hi" i said, returning the smile.

"So...I saw you dancing on the dance floor and it was amazing, it was breathtaking"

"Wow thanks...i am actually a dancer soo yay!!"

"Not to mention that you are breathtaking"

"Well, thank you for the compliments, Mr. Winner," i said, giving him a teasing smile.

"So you know me" He said returning my teasing smile

"A little because of a friend"

"So in this case I think you don't mind if as a winner I ask for your phone number."

"Let me think a little...hmm" I said, making a joke that made us laugh.

I took out my cell phone showing him my number "I don't think it's a problem" I said with a smile

He smiled back "Done..so whould you like a drink and we can talk more?"

"Okay, show me the way." We walk to the bar and decide to get some cocktails. We talk so much that we don't even realize how fast time flies until my bestie shows up completely drunk where we were.

"No problem... if you want I can take you home?" He said with a smile that was a little sad that our conversation had been interrupted.

"It is not necessary" "But I insist" He said clearly with no intention of giving up

I sigh, "Okay then." "Well wait for me outside. I just have to tell my friends I'm going." "Okay!" I say as he blends into the crowd of people.

"Ihh!!!! I what more drinks" Said the drunk bestie

"No, you've had enough to drink," I say as I take her outside. We wait for Lando after looking for a place to stay.

Then Lando comes running towards us, I smiled at the scene because it reminded me of a golden retriever.

"So...I didn't make...you guys wait long." He said breathlessly

"Not really" "Okay then let's go to the car" He said carrying bestie

"You don't need to do that" "No, it's okay, I don't want my princess to get tired" "Your princess?" I said containing the smile that was about to appear

"Yes mine" "Okay then but you have to earn it" "Okay challenge accepted" He said with a teasing smile as he put the now sleeping bestie in the car, then he opened the door for me and ran to open the driver's door

"Ready?" "Yes" I said smiling at him just like he smiled at me

The trip home was silent but pleasant with some random comments from both sides that made us laugh.

So we arrived and he opened the door for me and helped me take bestie inside who was still sleeping. Then I walked him to the door to say goodbye.

"It was fun talking to you and getting to know you," he said with that same smile that would make anyone melt with love.

"I can say the same about you," I say, feeling butterflies in my stomach. Then, without realizing it, we begin to move closer to each other as if he were a magnetic field and I were a magnet totally attracted to him.

With our lips 5 centimeters apart, we hear a cry coming from behind me, breaking the moment. Knowing who it belonged to, we curse in our native language for having our moment ruined.

"Sorry Lando, I have to take care of her," he said with a crooked smile.

"It's okay, there's always a next time." He said with an "it's okay" smile.

"I'm really sorry." "It's okay...how about we go on a date?" "Fine with me...Tuesday is fine." "Okay then it will be Tuesday" I was going to say something before hearing more crying sounds

"Sorry I need to go...we can talk by texts" "Ok" "So...bye" "By-" I kiss him on the cheek making him go into shock before smiling at me
