the paris catacombs are 1000x more fucked up than i imagined
did you know the cops once found a fully functioning movie theater with a well-stocked bar inside the catacombs and they when they tried to go back later to formally investigate it was completely emptied out save for a note that read "don't search for us"
Underground french cinema
my little bro is part of the catacombs community and yeah, it's basically a fully autonomous society! enough that when my bro goes in on a friday night, they don't come out until monday for work- sometimes longer if they took days off.
some of the rooms have fully stocked pantries with cooking equipment, some have movies like the one described above, some have books you're allowed to just take but people always put back- every day people bring things from the outside. artists often set up galleries there. there are rooms with mattresses and hammocks set up for people to sleep. one of the room is just a place where people leave shoes for the fun of it.
this is Known, it's not a secret by any means. the catacombs are as big as paris itself, and people live there just as people live above. it's wonderful when you think about it.
A little update! My little bro is now my little sister. Please don't misgender her :)
Things Zoey has gone viral over;
Accidentally calling Mira ‘Mir-Bear’ on stream
A old post of hers from before Huntrix where she is key smashing over Celine (she was in full CEO gear) gets pulled up and Zoey replies ‘oh so we’re hating on the truth now??’
A video of her sexy dancing while singing Thunder Bringer from Epic
A video with the caption ‘I asked if we can see Wicked For Good and Mira said we have Wicked For Good at Home’ where Zoey is clearly filming Rumi from around the corner as she is just fucking belting No Good Deed as she folds laundry
Bites Rumi’s hand on stream because she tried to sneak snacks
During a conversation about how people miss the point of art work due to Sexy, she says ‘people only remember spirit of the cimarron for the Sexy Horse instead of the plot about the colonization of Native Americans which is such a shame’
Signs Huntrix up for American ninja warrior while on vacation, they all go viral because the absolutely smash the course but Zoey goes viral because she goes first before any of the organizers realize who they are so they’re asking soft ball questions. When she says she’s a song writer and says the name of one of her song cloud raps from when she was 15 when asked for the name of the song and the picture of the caption saying ‘winner of five international idol song writing awards and an Grammy’ when she’s asked that becomes a meme.
Accidentally flips Mira over her head because she jump scared her
Rumi posts a picture going ‘Zoey is asking random white men for autographs now’ with a picture of her asking Tony Hawk for an autograph
Kim Richards vs. Eileen Davidson and Lisa Rinna in Amsterdam ASMR
The plastic cup sound is SENDING ME
That was so awful! Lmao

Oh you’re part of the densest half

remember that short story they made you read in school called The Lottery where the whole town gets together and just stones a motherfucker at random what the fuck was up with that
Actually, I know what was up with that!
When The Lottery (by Shirley Jackson) was first published, tons of people wrote into the newspaper that published it to demand to know what the hell it was meant to be about
I suppose, I hoped, by setting a particularly brutal ancient rite in the present and in my own village to shock the story’s readers with a graphic dramatization of the pointless violence and general inhumanity in their own lives.
So basically the story is written in such a way that the uncritical nature of the townspeople is highlighted, when it comes to their own traditions. Every year the town commits outright violent murder, but because it’s ‘normal’ to them, they don’t think of it in those terms. The reader, who isn’t part of the town’s cultural assumptions, sees the horrific nature of their actions. But the characters in the story don’t.
In essence, it’s a story about normalization (before that phrase was coined). The point is to make you think about what cruelties might be passing uncriticized in your own culture, just because they seem ‘normal’ to you. Maybe your town doesn’t stone someone to death once a year, but there are other ways for communities to kill people, or let them suffer. And some of those are just as needless and just as rooted in unquestioned assumptions about how the world works, or how society needs to operate. The people in The Lottery were hesitant to give up their tradition because they believed it guaranteed them a good harvest. Revealing, in that hesitance, that the possibility of a bad outcome was more frightening to them than an atrocity they’d normalized.
the lesbian computer from portal was right. given the circumstances ive been shockingly nice
If you haven’t seen the meme, it’s three photos of me showing my flapjacks to the judges and then a quote, I don’t remember saying this but apparently it’s how I talk, says “Started making it, had a breakdown, bon appétit”

“miss piggy would make it look like an accident”
This keeps going past on my dash and I can’t let it go any longer. It’s time to see the record straight.
Miss Piggy doesn’t have a subtle bone in her floppy felt body. There is no possible way she could ever make it look like an accident.
Miss Piggy would make you into an example.
I've noticed that Ben has been at the center of many of the group hugs in both CC & CT and each one is a vital part of their friendship and Ben's character. All of these are just so emotional on many different levels, especially given the fact that we now know from CT s4 that Ben has been thinking of himself as a burden for so long, and believing that he's not worth helping. With all of these group hugs, the Camp Fam make it quite clear to him just how much he means to them and how much they love him. CT S4 really shines a spotlight on this, the group doing anything and everything to save him, and never once considering giving up on him.
This friendship group has my whole heart!!
