2025-2028 in rhythmic gymnastics - what do we know about senior groups? (all information is from this article)
2025 will see groups dealing with 5 ribbons and 3 hoops & 2 balls.
2026-2028 will all be about 5 balls and 3 hoops & 4 clubs.
BULGARIA🇧🇬: 3 members of the Paris 2024 team officially announced their retirement: Kamelia Petrova (2006), Magdalina Minevska (2005) and Margarita Vasileva (2005). The other two members, Sofia Ivanova (2005) and Rachel Stoyanov (2003), remain in the group, with Ivanova taking over the role of captain.
Among the new entries we find: Suzan Pouladian (2007), member of the 2021 junior team, together with Viktoria Georgieva (2006), Sofia Pavlova (2007), Ivon Boshkilova (2007), Danaya Atanasova (2007) and Alina Kolomiets (2006).
Based on photos from control training, the starting five are Ivanova, Stoyanov, Pouladian and Kolomiets, with Georgieva for 5 ribbons and Atanasova for the mixed routine.

MEXICO🇲🇽: The team of Paris 2024 stays the same: Dalia Alcocer (2004), Adirem Tejeda (2002), Julia Gutiérrez (2007), Sofia Flores (2004) and Kimberly Salazar (2004). The substitutes are Karen Villanueva (1998), Lily de León (2008), Ángela Ku, Elina de la O and Fernanda Salas
SPAIN🇪🇸: Patricia Pérez (2004) and Ana Arnau (2005) officially retired, whilst Inés Bergua (2004), Salma Solaun (2005) and Mireia Martinez (2005) continue their journey in the team.
Substitutes are confirmed 2023-junior Lucia Munoz (2008), Andrea Corral (2008) and Alessandra Marcos (2008), and also 2021-junior Andrea Fernandez (2006). New entries are Cecilia Rodriguez (2009), who was also part of the 2023 junior team, then Marina Cortelles (2007), junior individual gymnast at the 2022 European Championships, and Marta Luisa Cordobilla (2007)
ITALY🇮🇹: Alessia Maurelli (former captain) and Agnese Duranti officially announced their retirement. Laura Paris (2002) and Daniela Mogurean (2001) are set to continue; Martina Centofanti (1998) is recovering from a knee surgery, but she's so far still confirmed as part of the team. Alessia Russo is pursuing technical formation.
The official 2025 team includes: Alexandra Naclerio (2005), Serena Ottaviani (2005) and Giulia Segatori (2004), who contributed to the junior silver medal back in 2019. Official documents also feature: Chiara Badii (2007) and Lorjen D'Ambrogio (2007), members of the 2021 junior team, together with Laura Golfarelli (2007), Allegra Jakic (2007) and Sofia Sicignano (2004)
BRAZIL🇧🇷: The only official retirement from the Paris team is Deborah Medrado (2002). The other members will continue: Maria Eduarda Arakaki (2003), Nikole Pircio (2002), Sofia Madeira (2003) and Victoria Borges (2002), who has successfully completed her physical rehabilitation after the injury in Paris!
The already-reserve gymnasts were confirmed: Barbara Urquiza (2003), starting member between 2021-2023; Mariana Goncalves (2005) junior individual gymnast at the 2019 World Championships; Maria Paula Caminha (2008), junior team member in 2023; Maria Fernanda Moraes (2006). New names are 2023 juniors Keila Santos (2008), Ana Luiza Franceschi (2008) and Lavinia Silverio (2009), together with Marianne Giovacchini (2005) and Rhayane Brum (2009)
UKRAINE🇺🇦: Only the Paris captain, Mariia Vysochanska (2002), retired. Official documents report that Olympians Diana Baieva (2004), Valeria Peremeta (2007) and Kira Shirykina (2008) will still be part of the group, but there is no news about the 5th 2024 Olympian, Alina Melnyk (2005).
Other members are Yelyzaveta Azza (2005) and Oleksandra Yushchak (2006), who competed in Valencia 2023 but not in Paris.

ISRAEL: All members retired, but there is no official information about the new members yet. One possibility is Michelle Munits, Daniela Munits' sister, who was first reserve last year.
FRANCE🇫🇷: Célia Joseph-Noël (2003), Manelle Inaho (2003) and Aïnhoa Dot-Espinosa (2005) announced their retirement, whilst Justine Lavit (2006) and Lozea Vilarino (2003) keep on training for the team.
Last year's reserve were confirmed: Emma Delaine (2003), who competed in Valencia 2023; Shana Loxton-Vernato (2007), junior individualist at the European Championships in 2022; Maëlys Laporte (2006), Salomé Lozano (2007) and Margaux Sol (2008). New entries include, as we know, former Georgian individualist Anna Khutsishvili (2006), together with Sasha Abensour (2010 - she won't be able to compete until 2026!), Eva Pusiol (2009), Charlie Rene (2009) and Naïa Okasha (2009)

USA🇺🇸: Getting ready for their home Olympics, the senior team will from now on be coordinated by Kamelia Dunavska (former Bulgarian team gymnast, world gold medallist in 1987). The team has been formed starting from the 2023 Junior group: Goda Balsys (2008), Kristina Lee (2008), Greta Pavilonyte (2009), Annabella Hantov (2008) and Alani Spata (2008). Other members are Lorelei D'Angelo (2008), Kalina Trayanov (2007), Deanna Georgieva (2007), Elizabeth Semenova (2009), Anastasia Slipets (2008) and Natalia Ye-Granda (2008).

FINLAND🇫🇮: Team member Elisabeth Jamil (2004) announced her retirement, whilst it seems that Lia Kallio (2007) will go back to individual gymnastics. Confirmed athletes are Nea Kapiainen (2007), Anni Olkkonen (2007), Emilia Kärkkäinen (2008), Anastasiia Polishchuk (2007), together with new-entries Lumi Mäkinen (2008) and Miisa Kurvi (2008)
POLAND🇵🇱: Although there is no official news, from social media is appears that Madoka Przybylska (2006), Magdalena Szewczuk (2006) and Julia Wojciechowska (2006) will continue onto the team journey. To them, we add 2023 juniors Vesna Pietrzak (2009), Melody Wąsiewicz-Hanc (2008) and Maria Aszklar (2009), together with Vlada Bodnar (2008) and Daria Straltsova (2009), Belorusian gymnast who has been living in Poland for some years now.

ESTONIA🇪🇪: Waiting for the 2025 European Championships on their home soil, the team has been almost completely renovated: only Ksenja Ozigina (2007) reamins from the 2023 group. With her, we will see 2023 juniors Kamila Grigorenko (2008), Polina Tubaleva (2009), Nika Oborskaja (2009), Elys Kretelle Kukk (2009) and Johanna Pertens (2009)
