@shipphappenss
for the love of marijuana dont torch the whole fucking bowl
why is liking body hair on women considered, like, a weird fetish when itâs literally just.. the female bodyâs natural formâŚ
men dumb
My boyfriend always says, you shave if you want to, he really doesnât care and that makes him the perfect man
the bar is too low
i just saw a fb post where a man was arguing with a woman about the best way to make macarons and he kept insisting that she was wrong, and then eventually he was like âIâve never personally made macarons, but if you think about it what Iâm saying makes sense, iâm simply stating the obvious. iâm sure there are plenty of youtube tutorials that would show you the same thing.â and the woman replied by linking him to her instagram business page and she makes fuckin macaron towers for parties for a living and iâve been laughing about it for a solid 5 minutes.
Men automatically assume theyâre more of an expert on something than any woman on account of their dicks. Iâve never met such an ignorant and narcissistic creature as a male
Iâll never forget a time when a fb friend of mine posted that sheâs on her way to hospital to give birth. Women commented with âgood luckâ and other encouraging messages. A manâs comment was advice on how to give birth.Â
You have got to be kidding me
So I was talking about Jekyll & Hyde (the book) at a writerâs museum while we were looking at an Robert Louis Stevenson exhibit. I was giving my take on Jekyll, and my brother tried to counter it. I countered back easily, and then he said âwell Iâve never read the bookâ
My dudeâŚâŚâŚ..stop
my ex, whose baking experience was pretty much limited to frying premade biscuit dough in boy scouts to make âdonutsâ, would constantly try to correct me or give me advice on baking
iâm a fucking pastry chef
met a dude at a party who was talking about physics and asked if iâd ever listened to any online physics lectures bc he listened to all of this one series and they were so helpful and maybe i could learn some physics too
i have a degree in physics
and am a published coauthor in astrophysics
the best part is that the woman who invented the term âmansplainingâ (her name is Rebecca Solnit and i highly recommend her collection of essays) came up with it when she was at a party one night and a man tried to explain a book to her, and wouldnât let her speak long enough for her to tell him that
she wrote the bloody book he was mansplaining to her
You know I have plenty examples of this but that last one takes the cake so imma just let it be.

First day of life up until 6th gradeÂ
Jumped all the way to Freshman year of High School
Then I cut my hair Junior year, why did I do that
Slowly it started growing back and thenâŚ.
I finally felt comfortable to express myself (the picture on the left was my debut)
At this point in my transition I am 6 months into HRT
A year on HRT
Over a year and a half on hormones. My transition hasnât been the clearest path but I am so happy that I am on it.
Update:
2 years since my coming outÂ
2 years on hrt
2.3 years on hrt
2 and a half years on hormonesÂ
Its been a while since Iâve done an update so here it goes
At this point I am 3 years into my Hormone Replacement Therapy. Iâm thriving.Â
These pictures were taken days apart and I am 3 and a half years into my medical transition (The picture on the right was also posted by Instagram on all their major social media handles attached with an interview I did with them for International Womenâs Month)
During this time I was 4 years into HRT. Clearly living for it.
I am currently 4 and a half years into HRT, 5 years into socially transitioning, 6 years into when i first came out to my community around me and Iâm loving life more than I ever thought I would.Â
Lil mini update!! Itâs my 5 years on hormones and I think thatâs quite the milestone to be proud of so hereâs some pics since the last update.
Canât wait to see how the next 5 years go!
I will always reblog this post. Itâs so heartwarming.

ahhh fuckit I might as well say it. OP, despite being a great example of how life gets better and that you can achieve your goals and dreams, is part of the âqueerâ camp. I donât think that demeans her post or her experiences but I just thought Iâd let you guys know.
- she thinks non dysphorics are trans
- she uses âqueerâ unironically and says âLGBTQ+â
- she thinks that the term âfemmeâ is just a word for any feminine âqueerâ person
Iâm happy for OPâs transition and think they look amazing. Just needed to put this out there
Can confirm I believe these things whole heartedly
we stan a legend
âCan you pass me the salt, Cherry?â
âNo,â she answered after a long pause. âItâs bad for you.â
âIâm awareâŚâ I said, but still neither of her two arms made a move for the short cylindrical jar of sodium chloride. She just sat there, licking her lips, smacking on nothing, her eyebrows occasionally scrunching up as she read something supposedly interesting in the newspaper on her lap.
I took a look around the room. The walls were bold red and the clock kept staring at me.
âWhere did you go today?â I asked.
âNowhere. The mall, the park, the other park.â
âOh! How was the other park?â The other park was my favorite park.
âIt was fine, but I lost the dog again. Picked up a new one from the kiosk on the way home.â
âI thought he looked different,â I said, looking down at the Chihuahua at my feet, who had been staring fiercely at the clock the entire meal.
âDid you get a new clock?â I inquired, trying to avoid eye contact with it.
âIt came with the dog.â
âOh,â I said as I reached across the table and poured some salt on my newspaper.
âThatâs bad for you,â said the clock.
âLet him make his own decisions,â said the new dog, briefly glancing at me before continuing his stare-off with the new clock.

Do you ever think about how Jeff Bezos could feed literally more than a million food insecure people while losing an hourâs wage but you have to tell yourself no when you want to buy a coffee but canât because thatâs all your rent money?
I do too
