Completely degendering bathrooms is a good idea in all places but esp esp esp in schools. Cieling-to-floor stalls and open air sinks not blocked by outer doors would genuinely fix so many fucking problems even before we start considering the fact that it functionally eliminates the entire reason for having to seperate and identify people by gender in the first place they ever have to be forced to do so socially.

Even if I pretend that this is true, which it is not btw this person has "terf-safe" as a tag on their blog, thats literally the school (or whatever kinda building cuz again this should be a general design philosophy for all buildings) faculty's fault for not putting cameras at the sinks or just not doing shit. Thats the point of them being open air and the stalls being floor-to cieling is to deter and facilitate investigation of that exact harrassment and violence that plagues that inbetween space without comprimizing privacy or sanitation.
